Hi @Guest_swiftrichlilac4a6b , you're having trouble posting photos to your IMVU feed. Several things could be causing this, including non-shareable products blocking the post, network issues, or photo size limitations. Here are some possible solutions:
1. Check for blocked products:
IMVU recently implemented a feature that prevents non-shareable products, such as those in peer review or AP rooms, from blocking a post. If you're trying to share a snap and are having trouble, make sure there are no non-shareable products in your current location or inventory.
2. Ensure a stable network connection:
A strong Wi-Fi or network connection is crucial for uploading photos. If your connection is weak or unstable, try restarting your modem/router or using a different network to see if that resolves the issue.
3. Optimize your photo size:
While IMVU doesn’t explicitly mention a maximum file size, it’s generally recommended to upload photos under 15 MB for optimal performance. Try reducing the file size of your photo if it’s large.
4. Try a different photo or method:
If you’re still having trouble, try uploading the original photo (not an edited version). You can also try using a different method to capture the image, such as the *hiresnap command in IMVU, which allows you to take high-resolution photos. This method saves the photo to your desktop, where you can easily share it.
5. Consider IMVU Support:
If you’ve tried all of the steps above and are still unable to post photos, consider contacting IMVU Support for further assistance. They may be able to identify specific issues or provide additional troubleshooting steps.
