It would be a great idea to be able to have 3 or 4 people in Dress Up. Please think about it.

Before IMVU Classic Desktop when the Alpha version of IMVU used the UI Messenger system then Dress Up was done in one's own private room. Back then saved outfits were listed in the Outfits Panel on one's IMVU Home Page. To change to a saved outfit one simply clicked on one and it was loaded in the room one was in. If one wasn't in any room then clicking on a saved outfit would trigger one's private to open and one would load in wearing the selected outfit. Back then one could still change clothing and load / save outfits regardless of which room one was in.
As you know one can still load / save outfits regardless of which room one dresses up in, including the Shop.
Since anyone can dress up and load / save outfits regardless of which room type they are in then it doesn't require rocket science to figure out that others can be invited if one needs an audience to dress up.
Conclusion: Dress Up mode is working as intended and doesn't need to be fixed.
BTW: Mostly I like the current clothing and room/furniture inventory set up of IMVU Classic Desktop better than the original UI Inventory lists of the Alpha version of IMVU. The part I miss is that one did not need to be VIP to have Dress Up be done in one's default private room. I also miss the Zoom IN View everyone got when someone was preforming avatar actions.... that was hilarious. IMVU should allow users the option of using the original Alpha version of IMVU. Then we could have Alpha, Classic, Next and Mobile.
