So, I want to mass delete a bunch of old posts, like HUNDREDS of them, maybe more. I reached out to IMVU "customer disservice" to see if they could delete all of them for me (a fresh start, is good!), and was told that's not possible.
I've been on vu since January 2021, and have probably several thousand posts.
Vu's answer was manual deletion, which will take an insane amount of time and click click click click click click click etc
There's got to be a better way!

It wouldn't be necessary to delete so many replies to posts if there wasn't so much spam. All this “check my bio for more bullshit” or “you're the light of the universe... blah blah.” It's endlessly annoying. That's why I gave up posting anything at all a long time ago. It just clutters things up endlessly. A “delete all replies” button would be really helpful!

The system would probably need to be reworked to make this possible, but I agree. I recently wanted to clean it up, and it took quite a while. I also encountered several bugs when adding photos to a specific album: if you scroll through the pages, there's a point where the photos stop loading and start repeating themselves, even when you change the page number.
I would suggest a considerable amount of time for users who want to keep their images so they can download them. After that, delete everything to rebuild photo management and storage in the client.
