I’m having trouble getting sparkles to shine properly in IMVU Studio. I’m trying to make certain areas (just the sparkles) reflect light using the shininess map, but every time I try, it ends up making the whole outfit look lighter or washed out.
I’ve tried using black as the base and painting white where I want the shine, but it’s not working the way I expected. The sparkles, but it also makes the fit lighter, which I don't want.
Has anyone dealt with this before? I’d love to hear how you got sparkles to reflect light without affecting the whole outfit.
