Issues with Next (you know, your "latest and best client")

I'm finding many rooms that are having this issue.

To preamble, I have uninstalled the app, cleared the cache and it is the most up to date version of IMVU's "latest and greatest" (sorry, the obvious sarcasm is unavoidable, at this point).


I'll load into the room fine, no issues there. I can see everyone (usually), so no issues there. I can move to some spots in the room, and that works fine. I move to others, and it yeets me to another spot altogether, but the SAME spot, EVERY time. I've reloaded the room, reloaded the app, rebooted my computer, reinstalled the app and all that. This STILL happens.


(and the old issue where some spots in Next or Mobile are only visible to classic users, but pretty much everyone is used to this old and stupid glitch)


So, vu, here's your chance to - you know - DO your job! You're a service provider, and your service - surprise!!! - isn't working properly.


I've cancelled VIP (after being a loyal customer there since early 2021), didn't buy AP+ (I was in the focus group, and all the things that I - and others - asked you not to do, you did, anyway) and don't buy credits anymore. I used to buy 50k credit packs at least once a month, but don't now. Nobody at VU actually believes in your product anymore, so why should I??


I'm NOT going to invest another cent in IMVU, at this point. Why bother? The management doesn't care one bit about the customers and I'm done with paying for a service, only to be treated like a criminal or a nuisance for wanting at least of a shred of value for my money.


Want me back as a paying customer? Start being a service provider.


I'm going to buy lottery tickets today. I'm more likely to win that, than see IMVU take one iota of ownership of its own damn platform and try to actually fix things.

I can confirm this is happening with mobile AND next, so both of your flagship platforms are doing this.

I CAN'T MOVE AROUND IN ROOMS. Yes, I get it's a chat app, but you sell it as a 3D graphic chat app, so am I wrong in wanting the 3D part to - well, you know - be functional, at least... Yeah, I know. I'm such an unreasonable customer.

The getting booted if you boot someone is also another serious issue.  And then there's the hordes of bots.  I'm sorry, but it's on VU, not us, to solve this.  I personally don't like it, but some users do like to meet people who are new to VU and are very upset that they have to set their GA rooms to no guests.  I'm talking people that have personally invested money in IMVU.  VIP, creation, constant gifting - you know, the people who are the bread and the butter or your profit margins?  All IMVU has to do is put limitations on how often brand new accounts can enter a room within an hour and this bot problem would vanish because it wouldn't be worth it to hackers to create the accounts only to have them deleted before they can make three posts.  How long would that take?  I know similar code already exists, so I'm guessing it would take longer to look up the section of code than it would to come up with a fix.
