Gifts being sent are not showing up in the messages. They don't show up if I send one either. What is with the messages not showing gifts? All you get are blank messages.

This often happens to me as well if the person sending the gifts is using IMVU NEXT. The gifts only show in the messages on IMVU NEXT. It seems like the only gifts one can see in the messages on Classic IMVU Desktop are gifts sent by other Classic IMVU Desktop and IMVU Mobile users.
Another issue with gifting is that not everything on a wish list can be seen by Mobile users. Only items that are worn as part of an outfit can be seen on a wish list if it's viewed by Mobile users and they can only gift items that they can see on someone's wish list.
Unfortunately IMVU Mobile users can seldom see my wish list because often it only contains furniture.
Sometimes dudes using Mobile IMVU enter the chat room I am in and showers women with gifts and then they tell me that my wish list is empty so I don't get anything. Sometimes I seen it happen to other women as well. When that happens one has to try to keep up appearances by not acting like ones feelings got hurt because that can be seen as a weakness which can be taken advantage of by those who get their jollies by feeding on drama or the misery of others.
