PEER REVIEW

Hello everyone, I have a question about peer review. It's taking longer and longer for products to pass peer review. As you can see in the short video,

https://gyazo.com/2f6f6297d7dd29a4730ae8a69211f001

some products are apparently reviewed ten times. @@ Why? What's the point of this?

5 promo credits per product reviewed isn't enough.

Maybe it's time to figure out how much is a fair wage to pay folk who review products.

The wage should be based on how much time on average is used to properly review a product type.

Reviewing some product types should pay more than other product types because those product types take a lot more time and effort to properly review than other types of products.

Until folk get a fair wage then very few will want to review products... maybe nobody.

Peer review always had been a problem, I remember the time when Classic client has not yet existed and we had to handle with an extra creator programme...products used to pass after 2 or more weeks only. Then the Classic client came up and mot of us were exited, because instead of having to open 2 programmes (and the creator programme was really laggy), all had been centralized in only ONE programme! IMVU promised as well to facilitate Peer Review and as nearly everybody was excited by the "new" client, a lot of users did peer review again, so produchts passed very quick, sometimes even the same day. THEN we recognized that nothing had really change in peer review, users began to be suspended from peer review for strange reasons, at this time we still had acces to the products we reviewed, but the products we saw, weren't the products we reviewed.....you remember? So what did IMVU to resolve this problem? They got rid of the link where we could see the products we "reviewed" ^^, the link itself is still existing, but you end up on a blank page. In the meantime more and more users were suspended for letting pass "repeatedly" products not being fit for IMVU, never an explanation, no tips or guides to do better, not even the products that were supposedly not ok. So yea, I don't think that whatever VIP we have or anything else, but the number of users not being able to review anymore, are the reason why products are stuck for more than 2 weeks at the moment. Personally I even think that a lot of users are only tired to do peer review, it's not grateful, you depend of IMVU never giving us better tools to do peer review, like a zoom for example (just one example, but an important one, to be able to go through the clothes to better see the underwear and no, the MCG Pose ist NOT enough). Many users are even afraid to get problems or disadvantages with their account if they do peer review, many rate their products AP even when it's visible GA, because they are afraid that the product won't pass......Well, all I can say is that the conditions of peer review NEVER changed in advantage for the users in 19 years.

I have over 25 items on this account now stuck for the 12th day.  On my other account it is the same issue except it is over 30 items stuck for 11 days.   It used to be 3 days, then 5 to get items to pass.  it is been 12 now and most of the items I published on 09/01 are still in PR.  I filed a ticket, but I am not sure what good that will do as it seems there is no response to this issue at all.  I tried talking to an agent on my other account but it says I have to have a VIP which I do but it seems the chat box does not even recognize that.  This is really becoming ridiculous.

Tickets are increasingly being answered with pre-made links that are of no help at all. Like here in the forum. Furthermore, more and more people are reporting that they're having to wait longer and longer for a response to their submitted tickets.

This is an issues that is being questioned by multiple developers in many different posts.  Each month the PR time is getting worse and worse.  3 days used to be long, then 5.  Now its over 8 days and stuff still doesn't pass.  Nothing is being done to accelerate the PR.  Unless you want to submit tickets, it doesn't seem IMVU is interested in solving this issue.

So now you wait longer than 3-5 days, usually around 7-8, for products to pass peer review. I still wonder how it was possible before that products passed review in 5-10 minutes?

Why are you, as a VIP paying customer and creator, suddenly so severely prevented from selling anything?

1. After 5-8 days, the products pretty much end up at the bottom of the catalog; they don't even appear on the first few pages.

2. The shop itself was "limited" to 834 pages some time ago. What are the chances that the products will even appear on the visible pages after 5-8 days of review?   https://prnt.sc/oYkKa3-AztGP

This is getting ridiculous! I'm still having submissions not passing for up to a week! I've had to submit three Support tickets just to get some to pass. Now on top of this there is a rash of people trying to submit items with swastikas on them!!! A friend of mine had their peer review privileges suspended for failing yet another pair of glasses with a swastika on them! If IMVU is going to allow hate symbols, I don't want to use this site any more!

Is the long wait time perhaps related to the VIP level? I mean, there used to be one VIP level – Legacy – and the products would go through in 5 to 10 minutes. Now there are multiple VIP levels, and nothing happens anymore. Or is it only faster with the highest VIP level, Emerald?
The forum also seems to be practically dead – no response from imvu so far.

This is getting ridiculous.  It was 1 day, then 2 day then 3 day wait.  I publish around 60 items on each account (have 2) at the start of each month and today (after 5 days) I still have 30% of my items that did not clear PR.  What is worse is that the items that did pass do not pass in the order they were submitted and I have customers asking whether I made matching pieces (which I have) since they are still stuck.  I think 5 days just shows where IMVU is at when it comes to customer and creator support.

Oh and please do not say I should do PR to make my things go faster,  I will not do PR because it is not my job.  I think IMVU already makes enough profit off of me and many creators like me and I will not click pass or fail for the worthless promo credits.

The more this and many other issues are not corrected, the more people complain and ultimately leave this platform.

When I access my shop pages via the website without logging in, all the new products I created in May/June that have passed peer review aren't visible. Only the products I created up until mid-April are visible. Everything I uploaded after that can only be seen when I'm logged in. It's safe to assume that all customers on my website can only see the products I uploaded up until April.

Are you or anyone else here experiencing items once passed review only appearing on your profile but not in the shop?

Exactly – I can only agree with FlyNuShii. IMVU always says that products take 3-5 days to get through the review process, but now some products take as long as 7! This means that by the time new products arrive in the shop, they're no longer marked as new products, and they're only visible in the shop when they're already far back in the store, where hardly anyone can see them. This is also one of the reasons why sales are steadily declining.

They are literally pushing items thru peer review out of order. Some of my items are still sitting for days now. I've been doing peer reviews to help & do my part but some items made a few days ago haven't been pushed while one or 2 I made a day ago are live. Idk what's going on. It's super frustrating.
