Last night I noticed that emoji symbols in public room names do not seem to work anymore on the classic client. It only shows weird symbols now if you use them. With the app everything shows fine. Is this just a glitch or has the feature to add them been removed in the classic client?

Yeaah, thats exactly what happens to my room name emojis too. I hope its just a glitch then and they will fix it soon.

I think it's a bug, something similar is happening to me recently. For example:
