I'm having a problem with seeing my new purchases in clothing and new room purchases not showing in list of rooms to make a open chat room. In fact not every room I have is making the list to be open to the public. Anyone else having this issue?

@Da3n3ryz, Thank you for responding with details. I was tired of waiting for the new clothing to show up so I went back to the store double checking and make sure the purchase went through, they did. So I took the time to search out both pieces as it said "You have this" I try them on and then hit save the outfit. That worked for me to be able to see the outfit and work with it. Now about that new room. I purchased a room called QueenDragon1. Just by chance and from frustration I went onto next to check things out. The room was there Under a different name Golden Raum. That's a serious problem that needs addressing with creators about renaming things. I proceeded to make the changes I wanted and add the picture I wanted. I did not like having to go onto next to see my purchase I made on classic. If this is a prelude to setting us up to get rid of classic I personally am not a happy camper about that change. I really don't like any part of the new version of the game, It looks more like a cartoon then 3D and all the ghosting of seeing your avatar in other spots you point to is spooky so are the manikins in the rooms. First time I saw them I was "What the Sam Hill going on in here" should I stay or should I go. I don't know what others are thinking this, It's just how I feel about it. I don't think I will continue here if classic goes away or i have to chase my goods on next to see them.

Hi @ASultryWoman, It is understandably frustrating when you've made purchases on IMVU and your new items don't appear as expected. This can happen for a few reasons, from a simple delay in the system to a caching issue with your client. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you resolve the problem with both your missing clothing and your new room not appearing in public chat.
Troubleshooting Missing Clothing Purchases
Often, a simple refresh of your inventory can resolve the issue of missing clothing items.
1. Refresh Your Inventory and Clear Your Cache:
Your IMVU client stores temporary files (cache) to help it load faster. Sometimes, this cache can become outdated and not reflect your most recent purchases.
Force a Refresh: A simple way to try and force a refresh is by logging out of the IMVU client completely and then logging back in.
Clear Your Cache Manually:** If logging out and back in doesn't work, you may need to manually clear your cache. You can find instructions on how to do this by searching for "clear IMVU cache" for your specific device (PC, Mac, or mobile).
2. Check Your Purchase History:**
Before contacting support, it's a good idea to confirm that your purchase was successfully processed. While the exact location can vary slightly depending on the IMVU client you are using (Classic, Desktop, or Mobile), you should be able to find a record of your transactions.
Look for a "Credits" or "Account" section in your settings. Within this section, you should find a "View History" or "Transaction History" option that will show you a log of your credit and item purchases.
* Check your email for a purchase confirmation from IMVU.
3. If Your Items are Still Missing:**
If you have confirmed your purchase and clearing the cache did not work, it's time to contact IMVU support.
Submit a Help Ticket: Go to the IMVU Help Center and submit a new case. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible, including:
* The exact name of the items you purchased.
* The date of your purchase.
* Any transaction IDs you may have from your purchase confirmation.
Making Your New Room Appear for Public Chat
Purchasing a room and having it ready for public chat are two separate steps. Here's how to get your new room up and running:
1. Locate Your New Room:
First, you need to find your newly purchased room in your inventory.
* Navigate to the "Chat" section of IMVU.
* Look for a tab or button labeled "My Rooms." Your new room should appear in this list.
2. Make Your Room Public:
By default, new rooms are often set to private. To make your room visible to everyone and available for open chat, you'll need to change its settings.
In the "My Rooms" section, find your new room and look for a settings or "Edit" option (often a gear icon).
Within the room settings, you will find options to set the room to "Public."
You may also have the option to add a room description and keywords to help people find it.
3. Setting Up a "Live" Room (Optional):
IMVU also has a feature for "Live Rooms," which are promoted more visibly. This often requires a VIP membership or the purchase of a "Live Room Token." If you have this and want your room to be a Live Room, you will find this option within the same room settings.
If you have followed these steps and your room is still not appearing in the public list, there may be a delay in the system. Wait a little while and check again. If the issue persists, contact IMVU support and provide them with the name of the room you purchased.
By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to resolve the issue of your missing purchases and get your new chat room open to the public.
