AP is supposed to ONLY be available to users who have AV.
Users can buy coins & convert them or gift to one another so they can purchase AP without AV (ILLEGAL beings you DON’T know if that account owner is LEGALLY an ADULT because they DON’T have AV).
Please make it so on the website we can’t buy AP without the AV feature enabled (purchased) on our account.
It’s easy:

I agree, ap and av should come hand in hand. It's nice that those who wish to stay ga can also get av.
my friends who have ap can get av for free, but they don't see a point in doing that extra work because it's not an obligation.
I would prefer that using a credit card not be enough to get ap, should go through the av photo process and the fee can be used to keep that data stored in imvu to be used as a comparison for a random time later when it's time to renew it, in order to protect the community from members who have been giving their accounts to... people they shouldn't.
I honestly feel spoiled here. I came straight from facebook and stayed, didn't really have an idea of what the other sites were like until recently when I wanted to join and use them to promote my imvu shop more. I use to complain about here so much until I saw that the other sites do much less for child safety. There are things here I'm really proud about and when I tell the few friends I have outside of imvu, they're really surprised. As much as I'd like imvu go to even further with their child safety features, I know they're already doing more than most sites, so I'm not going to strongly push for advancements anymore until it's the norm everywhere else.

Sometimes my AV isn't visibly showing for some reason.
Some years ago AP could be purchased without AV; provided that they used a MAJOR Credit card. It does stand to reason if anyone back then was only 12 to 13 years old then they are now an adult.
