Two days ago, I received an email stating that the suspension on my account would be lifted within 24 hours. If it took longer, they suggested I contact their help center. After 48 hours, the suspension hasn't been lifted yet. Could you please help me

Using VPN changes IP address and often seen as suspicious. This is because folk with something to hide often use VPN. It becomes even more suspicious if there is also an attempt to change password. Such activity will most likely be flagged as attempted account theft.

I am YETKlN


I live in Istanbul, Türkiye. Like everyone who wants to join IMVU from Türkiye, I use a VPN. We have no other login option.

On September 17, 2025, I unknowingly tapped the IMVU platform login on my computer. I attempted to log in against my will. I was asked to change my password. Even though I changed my password, my YETKlN account was temporarily suspended for security reasons. I contacted the help center for help with my YETKlN account under case number 647062. They only responded on October 5th and informed me of the necessary steps. The requested information included my real name and surname, my real date of birth, the city where I opened the account, the city I live in, and the birth date of the YETKlN account. I was asked for my ID and a selfie. I was asked whether I used a VPN. I added these requests to case number 647042 on the same date.



However, I still haven't received a response regarding this issue. When I tried to log in to the imvu platform on October 13, 2025, I couldn't. The VPN provider country in my VPN program had automatically changed without my consent. First, my attempt was blocked due to the VPN change. Then, I was asked to change my password through the links provided. My two attempts to change my password were rejected, and my account was permanently suspended. Upon my request, I received an email on October 14, 2025, with a temporary password provided. I was informed that the suspension would be lifted within 24 hours and that I could change my password. However, four days have passed, and my account is still suspended. I'm currently using the temporary password. I don't know when this suspension will be lifted. I believe that imvu officials don't care about our situation and are treating me and others in my situation like potential criminals.

For us to help we will need full context on the events that transpired which led to the suspension. 


It would help if you can get witnesses to the events to post their side of the story in this thread.
