Finally I got my 2FA Code before it was expired and hopefully everyone else will. It sure took them long enough to solve this issue.
I hope we all get compensated for the grief and inconvenience.

I personally think one big solution that could help is if IMVU could work with Google so that we can use their authenticator app.
I use it for a lot of websites that allow it, and I like it. I don't have to wait for a text message or an email. I just open the app, there's my numbers, put them in, and everything works.
At least with an authenticator app, IMVU doesn't have to play games with email and hoping it goes out. Granted not everybody is going to use it and still needs email, but at least for many of us willing to use it. We won't have to deal with this anymore.

I made this account as a temporary solution since I am one of those yahoo users.
We can't bypass the 2FA codes to change our e mail address without first being able to log on and we cant log on unless we get our 2FA codes before those codes expire. We do get the 2FA codes but only after ½ hour to 45 min after trying to log in.
What might solve this is: If IMVU Tech Support changes how long the 2FA codes are active. ATM those codes expire after 10 minutes but we first receive them in E Mail ½ hour to 45 minuets on average. I tried to log on over 20 times and a couple of those times it took almost 1½ hours to get the 2FA code.
What comes first; the chicken or the egg?

I took Arex's advice and set up an email address on a new service and I got the email instantly. Obviously there's something going on with Yahoo and IMVU. So I'm going to stop using Yahoo.
Major props to Arex for the helpful hint.

My solution to this just now was that I changed my email address while I was still signed in through web browser I was able to get the code verification access by using an alternate mail address. If you're somehow logged in and need to bypass the lockout that's the solution I suggest. For me I think it was my yahoo account blocking it from being received but I have it fixed now.
