I want to express my frustration with the current shop promotion system. I just saw the options to promote products, and it is disheartening.
We are asked to pay huge amounts of Creator Coins to get visibility. On top of that, if you are already a VIP (Emerald, etc.), you get extra time bonuses. How is a new creator supposed to compete?
IMVU is becoming a 100% "Pay-to-Win" system. Instead of rewarding original design or creativity, the system rewards whoever has the most money to spend on advertising. This makes small creators invisible—we put effort into our products but don't have thousands of credits to "buy" a spot in the search results.
This is not healthy competition. It is a monopoly for those who already have money. We need a fair algorithm that gives real opportunities to new talent, not just the biggest wallet.

I know what you mean, I’ve considered getting just enough for about 3 promotions. but only for a day is crazy to me, I have to pay real money which is more than USD in my currency. then I have to pay more for more time? most products on the main page are already over a thousand credits, imvu is supporting the capitalistic nature of what the world has come to. microtransactions ruined absolutely every fun thing that ever existed, imvu is no exception.

Great post MiGwolf. I am far from new but the amount of squeeze they are putting on everything is insane. With dwindling user numbers everything now seems to be pay to play.

With How IMVU Has Been Treating Their Customers Lately, This Is Not Like Video Games At All...
For Years People Have Gotten Privileged In Making Content, But The Staff Has Broken A Vow On This Privilege With Users, & A Lot Of Them Are Running Out On The Service...
This However Never Meant New Members Would Get Better Treatment On The System As An Alternative Replacement...
Soooo, If We Loose All The Older Creators??
How Are We Supposed To Keep This Platform Alive??
Further More, As The Top Poster Has Suggested, It's Heartening That New Users Are Not Able To Make & Sell Anything At All...
I Mean If Possible I Would Do All The Work, & Provide The Credits, But Even Then I Can't Guarantee The IMVU Staff Would Continue To Allow That To Even Go On As They'd Probably Just Break The Service For Credit Gifts...
It's A Real Shame What They Are Doing With IMVU, ~__~
