They override imvu's privacy features and charge people a fee to be excluded from it, so... obviously not something imvu gave permission for.
When that site started, the owner explained they made those reveal codes to help people find illegal products so they can report them easier to imvu, but it wasn't popularly used for that, more for revealing hidden products people wear and buy them. As a dev, I use to really enjoy revealing people's outfits so I could find the meshes and derive, as that was much easier than asking them for links, especially when people struggle getting them just for a favor to a stranger. But I don't really find it needed these days since shop is so full of new meshes, don't need help from peers as much.
The last time I was in their discord server, I notified them about an obvious c-predator I found that was signed up to their subscription so they could hide their illegal products from being reported. They did not care and explained it was not their business what their customers do with their services, and that it was imvu's problem to set up their report features properly. That was when I completely washed my hands of them. They've changed. I think the original owner handed it over to someone else, or he's changed. I don't recommend supporting people like this. They had that c-predator's irl payment info and did not want to alert the authorities, let alone imvu, so since they've completely flipped their original objective, I see them as the bad people they use to try to stop. I hope they get shut down permanently. I also hope that imvu can make new features that would run findvu obsolete, but I can't imagine how.
