I'm deeply torn because I really love all the creators I've been obsessively shopping from all these years, but I also have become obsessively in love with the new imvu+ features we can make in the new imvu studio.
The creators here are so talented and have built so much skill over the years, it really saddens me to leave them behind when I know their imagination would fly off with these new features!
It's very hard for me to post video tutorials on how to easily use them because my laptop is just not powerful enough to record imvu, eventhough it's not old.
I know more creators are trying out imvu studio, especially the newer ones, but I've been anxiously waiting and really yearning for the classic creators to warm up to this. Especially for them to use the emission feature that can make parts of any product burn bright with the light of Sauron ♥
I really do wish for more updates that would entice them to use the new Imvu Desktop, Next browser, I'm sure Imvu Mobile is the best bet because that's something Classic doesn't offer.
I know offering a type of registration won't be something most of them will try because it's a "loud" action while they're already disgruntled about the situation. I think it would be more encouraging to just post a note saying any creator who hasn't uploaded any imvu+ products yet is automatically qualified for 10 free new product submissions over the following year. This way they can do it on their own as they feel the moment of inspiration powers them.
I know they can just edit already existing products, but I feel this would bring a special incentive.

I'm Willing To Open A You Shop For Products I'd Produce For You, & I'd Fully Offer All Of This To You...
However, I Would Separate My Own Shop, & Produce All Of My Products To Just Me, & All The Others Who Love My Shop, Separating My Shop From The You Shop, Thus Leaving More Room To Reach More People, But I Would Not Combine The Two Shops Together, I Would Not Turn My Back On My Already Fans Like That, So I Would Not Enforce The Adaptive Ability To Switch The New Way, I Would Just Leave It There As An Option Of People Who Choose To Want It...

I love the idea of dev tickets!
There were many times I've wanted to and actually have donated sums of cr to creators to let them create, but many times they gave into temptation and went shopping instead!
I'm going to try to search for that threat you mentioned about the pros and cons of using products that share similarities with body lights, that seems interesting!

-- I am only interested in developing a few items for personal use but open to others buying them too.
-- I would like to add another suggestion that is in the same ballpark as yours.
DEVELOPER TICKETS
-- For folk whom only wish to develop a few items.
-- Allowing folk whom own their Registered IMVU Name to develop a few products without needing a VIP subscription.
-- Once purchased the Developer Ticket would allow one item per Developer Ticket to be developed. It will also allow a small shop to open.
-- Developer Tickets would not pay for the fees associated with product submission.
-- The small time developer would be allowed to earn and use Dev Tokens.
-- A Developer Ticket could be sold for X amount of credits or Y amount of Dev Tokens.
-- Buying several Developer Tickets at a time should offer pricing benefits or discounts like 5 for the price of 3
-- Developer Tickets wouldn't have an expiration date allowing novice developers time to practice before submitting products.
-- Gifting someone else Developer Tickets would also be allowed.
-- I do have some opinions about IMVU+ products but those opinions are better suited for forum threads about the pros and cons of using products that share similarities with body lights. This thread seems to be about developing 10 products or less.
