When you use Sign in with Apple, your IMVU account does not automatically use your Apple ID password. Changing your Apple password will not update or create an IMVU password.
To change your avatar name, you first need to set an IMVU password for your account.
Here’s what you should do:
Go to the IMVU website and choose Forgot Password
Enter the email address linked to your Apple login
Follow the email instructions to create an IMVU password
Once you have an IMVU password set, you should be able to proceed with the name change.
If you do not receive the password reset email, or if the email linked to your Apple account is hidden/private, please contact the official IMVU Support team so they can help verify your account.
I Sign in with Apple I need to change my password to do a name change. Everytime I change my Apple password it doesn’t work
