I don't know if this is a issue you guys take action on but I've had this so called friend for a few months now and he's been telling people he's 26, he's recently just be forced by someone to confess his age and he's actually 50yrs old, he's been lying and dating young women on the app without them having knowledge of his real age, the person who had him outed got her account banned, I assume for stalking him and pushing the confession but I just really worry about him being on the app and doing this, he's been doing it for years I have gathered and I have a confession from him as well stating he lied because nobody would date him because he was 50 so he started telling people he's 26

Hi there! As long as we are 18 years of age or older, our avatar may represent any age above 18. According to IMVU’s Community Guidelines, this falls under what is known as “Age Misrepresentation at Account Creation.”
This means that the age shown on an account does not necessarily have to match the user’s real age, provided that the user is at least 18 years old and the avatar also represents an adult (18+).
For example, a person may be 18 years old in real life but choose to display 100 years old on their IMVU account profile. We may ask Customer Support to change our account age at any time.

-- It's not against the law for someone who is 50 years old to date someone whom is 18 years old.
-- As long as everyone is 18 years or older then no rules regarding age have been disobeyed on IMVU

And age misrepresenting is in the dmca takedown policy in the user guidlines I believe
