I’ve been on IMVU for years, and there’s something that really bothers me. First, let’s be honest about Adult content (AP). We all know why it exists—it’s for adult entertainment. Men and women want high-quality, realistic products.
What I don’t find fair is that creators have to go through a stressful review process and live in fear of posting a product, only to risk getting banned. I’m really upset because I know a lot of people want AP products. Younger users who don’t have access to AP shouldn’t make the process harder than it already is. It’s 2026—we have the technology to verify ages when people sign up for features that aren’t meant for their age group.
I love IMVU a lot. As a creator, I want to help the community by making good-quality products, including solid AP items. What frustrates me is that users report AP products, then turn around and complain that there aren’t enough items available. If a product isn’t harassing or violating any rules, why report it? That’s just trolling and it’s incredibly unfair to creators who spend more than 10 hours a day making content for the community to enjoy.
I’m open to connecting with anyone who feels the same way. It’s a shame that AP has become so handicapped, but hopefully the community can come together and address this issue.
