Unfortunately there doesn't seem like bots can't be stopped from invading chatrooms and spamming links to sites that have ways to bypass the security protocols that are meant to keep our private data safe.

Related to this topic:

  1. Almost all sites on the internet have become comprised by AI, Bots and cleaver hackers.
  2. Try to figure out ways to decrease how often personal data on the internet is used especially data that can be misused by criminals.

Examples of protecting oneself:

  1. Avoid using internet banking and instead go back to using the telephone or visiting the bank in person, even old fashioned letter and stamp postal mail of hand written letters (ink and paper or typewriter because anything done with home computer can be comprised by spyware programs).
  2. Getting a second bank account that is only used for risky transactions, like internet transactions. This second bank account usually only has a small amount of money on it so main bank account doesn't get compromised. The security programs and firewalls used by banks are usually better than the security programs and firewalls used by regular internet users.
  3. Our right to our real life personal privacy being prioritized. Never trust anyone who hasn't earned it in real life; especially with personal information like: location, information about employment like company name or job description, real life name, age, relationship or status with family, anything related real life friends, and any information that can be used to help locate or identify who you are. This is IMVU; a roleplaying site where we can become anyone we choose to be so it's ok to make up a fake story of who you are. Online friends haven't earned real life trust so be very careful about what they are told.
