I wouldn't say that IMVU hates human life. From what I have seen, this platform strongly encourages people to express themselves. Perhaps this whole thing is projection?

Maybe not so much a hating of human life, but is a lot more hostile towards the community than what I have seen from IMVU.
But about this: "Walking Out On This Company In Large Numbers" Numbers fluctuate all the time and can do so for many reasons. Not all of them have to be because of things the company has done.
Real life happens and let's be honest. IMVU while you can go your whole time F2P, unless you are willing to spend money or get stuff gifted to you. IMVU can be quite the expensive hobby. Then I think about the community instead of IMVU directly. Look at room descriptions, look at this very post, look at subreddits. Unless you get lucky, the community is toxic, or boring as heck and unless you stick in your own room or find that unicorn of a room that isn't filled with toxic people or people trying to get into your pixel pants or afk. This site can get boring really fast. Who wants to stick to a site where they are no longer having fun or can find fun?
But are the people really leaving in the waves as this post is trying to convince IMVU? I honestly don't think so. I know I have only been here a short while. But the numbers have remained fairly steady that whole time with me being able to predict with good accuracy the amount of people the site says is on. Like within 5 hours, the so called number on will drop to around 18K
