I want to eliminate a product from my shop but I don't know how. I've tried to hide it but it takes me back to my imvu homepage on the app.

Open the classic webpage for the product item and scroll down to where you see a green and a red dot; it will look like this:
Clicking the red dot will hide the product page from being searchable by others, even if they already own the product.
If the product is furniture then those whom already own the product can still find the product icon in their inventory and load it into a room. Others can still see the product in the room. What is hidden from them is the product page and the product icon from the list of products in the room if they open that list.
If the product is something worn then those whom already own the product can still find the product icon in their inventory and load it on their outfit. Others can still see the product worn on the avatar. What is hidden from them is the product page and the product icon from the list of products of the outfit if they open that list.
If a developer ever regrets hiding a product from the shop then they can click the green dot. This is why developers can still see their own hidden products in their own shop and the product page. IMVU wants developers to have the option to edit the settings of their products or edit their products.
Unfortunately there exists 3rd party sites that offer services to bypass the privacy tools provided by IMVU. These sites are set up by hackers that extort money by selling protection from others whom use their services. Like pay them 10 dollars a month so no one can use their services to invade ones privacy.
