Let’s be completely honest: IMVU is becoming one of the most boring apps on mobile and the player base is actively jumping ship to competitors like Roblox,HighRise Second Life etc because this engine is completely frozen in the past. We are in 2026, yet our avatars are still completely static

stuck like 2D stickers on a screen where you can’t even breathe, move, or run unless you click a generic yellow node.

The photography feed shouldn't be the only thing holding this app together. If simple 2D games like HighRise can implement flawless joystick movement without lagging out, and platforms like Avakin Life let players actually walk and explore, there is zero excuse for a multi-million dollar company to keep its players locked in a silent void.

If IMVU wants to survive the upcoming launch of Project Rene  and Second Life Mobile and major mobile competitors, the corporate team needs to stop using outdated tech as an excuse and deliver baseline modern standards: like walking/movement background Ambient background sounds etc every other game is doing it why can't this game does it

If you're unhappy, LEAVE. No one is keeping you here. You won't be missed when you're gone either. Geesh. You all need to get a life.

I agree. And with the feed I want to see regular players on discovery too not just mainly models that have thousands of friends and followers. The modelers are too big headed over the ai they post and they’re rude as well as.
