Unless there is a very important and valid reason to expose one's own personal biometrics to a private company then one might want to practice caution; even if those private companies make promises of protecting the personal data of their customers.
Biometric data should be considered MUCH MORE valuable than any other form of personal data because it can't be canceled like a compromised credit card can.
Biometric data includes fingerprints, eye retina scans, DNA profile and even high resolution photos of face.
To acquire Age verification requires one to submit a high resolution photo of one's own face.
Let's not forget that the approximate age and mental maturity of someone can often be determined by having a simple conservation about life and current events.
