Hey would IMVU be able to recover an account that was stolen and had the orginial email changed? As this happened due to me selecting a pinishing link, and I've yet to get a response.

IMVU says that if an account was compromised and the email address was changed, you should create a support ticket and provide ownership details. http://im.vu/help828
You should include as much information as possible. The username, the original email, DoB on the account, city/state/country where the account was created, and any billing information connected to it. Also explain in your ticket that you clicked a phishing link and the account was taken over.
It does take a long while to get a response to a ticket.

Why did you not use the right mouse button to open up an options menu of what to do with a link, then select scan link with (name of your antivirus / security program) instead of using the left mouse button that opens links ?
