My account has been cloned or something similar; now, when I log in using my credentials, a new account appears. The only difference I’ve noticed which occurred after they contacted me to demand a ransom is that the name has been changed to @LogMaxx. Otherwise, the account is identical.

Try logging out then log on using IMVU Classic instead of logging in on IMVU NEXT
If you don't have IMVU Classic installed then get the download from the link below the illustration.

The same thing, nothing has changed, the same new account that was created yesterday keeps appearing.
