I was double charged for gifting a badge to one of my friends. Also the badge was never gifted to my friend and the creator refuses to do anything about it.

Shane, did you hear anything back from the creator at all? Usually badgers aren't like that. I don't know them all but a lot. I've never had an issue like that. I don't know what to tell you about IMVU freezing on you. This site is far from perfect. I hope you hear something back from the badger.

I didnt double click the buy button imvu froze on me when I went to buy the badge and it sent the badge twice double charging me. Yes the creator is on imvu now cuz i messaged them about buying the badge for my friend so they could grant the badge to them but they didnt grant the badge to my friend.

Oops...I forgot this,

Is the badge creator active on IMVU now? A lot of badge creators are not here much anymore and they have badges for sale in the catalog. You can always send a friendly note asking if they are still active and granting badges.

Hi :)

Creators do not have the ability to "double charge" you for anything purchased by you. You may have hit the buy button twice when you bought the badge. Also, if you purchased the badge with Promo credits, badge creators do not grant. Check to see if you used promo credits. And on every badge that I have ever purchased there is a product page that states the conditions of the badge. Meaning no promo credits, gift and receive and how long it takes for them to grant the badge. Most also include a blacklist warning that also means not purchasable or grantable if you are on the list. There are no refunds granted. If you accidentally purchased the badge, which you may have done, it's not the creators problem. And almost all badge creators require you, the purchaser, to leave a 5 star review in order to receive the badge.

You may want to go back and read the product page on the badge. If your friend received it as a gift from you then said friend needs to leave a review.

I hope this helps.
