How do I follow or unfollow users?

Do you find a user's Feed posts interesting? Would you like to see all future posts? Then Hit the Follow button!

The Follow feature is primarily aimed at those who wish to build a social presence within IMVU, such as Creators who wish to advertise their products. With this, you can be updated about users' latest Feed activity without having to add them all as Friends!

To Follow:

STEP 1. Click on the avatar name of the person you wish to follow. This will bring up the avatar card.

STEP 2. Click on Follow. The person's updates would now show in your Feed.

To Unfollow:

STEP 1. Click on the avatar name of the person you wish to unfollow. This will bring up the avatar card.

STEP 2. Click on the section that says Following.

STEP 3. After clicking on the “Following” button, you will see the “Follow” option, that means you have already unfollowed the user.

NOTE:

Each user can only follow 5,000 users.
Each user can be followed by an unlimited number of users.
Some users who deactivate their accounts may remain on your Followers' list. This list of deactivated accounts are cleaned out regularly, though it might take some time.
