How to Edit the Outfit Title and Description

You can customize a saved outfit's title and description so that you can easily identify and personalize the outfits that you have created for your avatar. To edit the outfit title and description, follow the steps outlined below.

Editing the Outfit Title and Description on IMVU Classic

STEP 1: Access IMVU Classic.

STEP 2: On the main menu, click Dress Up.

STEP 3: Click the outfits tool located at the bottom of the screen.

STEP 4: Point your cursor to the outfit that you want to edit then click the blue information icon.

STEP 5: When the outfit card window appears, edit the text in the title and description boxes then click Save.

Editing the Outfit Title on IMVU Desktop & Website

Note: Editing the outfit description is not available on desktop and website.

STEP 1. Log into IMVU Desktop or Website and click on the Inventory tab.

STEP 2. Click on the filter icon at the top-left and select Looks.

STEP 3. Select your look, click the three-dot icon, and hit Rename Look.

STEP 4. Type your desired outfit name and click Save. Refresh the page to see the changes afterwards.

Can I do this on IMVU Mobile?

At this moment, there is no option to edit the outfit title and description on IMVU Mobile.
