Another improvement from the Lab for 2024! We have finally released support for 6 bones per vertex!
After a long wait for all browsers to support OpenGL ES 3, which is required to support more than 4 bones per vertex, all IMVU platforms (Studio, Web, Desktop and Mobile) will now support up to 6 bones per vertex skin weighting.
If you have previously been seeing issues with mesh weighting or have made products with 6 bones per vertex weighting, you should now be seeing improved results.
For more information about what this change means and skin weighting, please see this Creator Education Center article: Skin Weighting Limit.

(The long awaited feature has been for Attachment Position and Rotation, to line up with the existing Scale we have now. We're still "awaiting")
