My sales figures dropping everyday, I can’t believe this is happening to me!, thanks imvu for everything, I am a vip payer yet you still demand more, peer review delay is done on purpose so we have to buy vip diamond or more to get it pass quickly , just wow!! Am I being punished for something? I sent a message to the community manager and never got reply, sent an email to imvu and never got reply, I see what is happening around here, total disrespect for us creators, after all these years this is the treatment we get!

Yeah the change to the shop nuked both my accounts sales by over 10% and still rapidly falling. Might be over for me if the drops continues. 10% in a week in a half of lost sales for my accounts is basically unheard of. I might post back a week later to update. If it continues at the rate it's going it'll be 15+% gone.

ok. I just checked for clothes and the proportions of pro creators being paid in real currencies is completely inversed. It's 93% of the first 100 ranked products that are from pro creators and only 7 spots for none pro creators. Why do IMVU understand such a genuine business practice to promote pro creators for clothes and decide the opposite for rooms, furnitures and animations ????

No it's not fair nor acceptable.

Do any search in the catalog and 90% of the first 100 ranked products will be from creators not being paid in real currencies. Basically, IMVU doesn't seem capable of undestanding that investing in its pro creator base is the way to expand IMVU's business. It's the same paradigm being played over and over and only showing a decrease in IMVU's business but they keep doing it. Its been shocking me for about 12 or 13 years now. Well, let me rephrase. I'm talking about the Room and Furnitures and animations category. I'm not into clothings. And it's possible that into the clothings category they do invest in pro creators.. do they ? WHAT??????????????????????? I just checked. In the clothings categories it's the exact inverse. 93% of the 100 first ranking products are from pro creators. So they seem to understand this genuine business comportment there, but it's not the case with Rooms, Furnitures and Animations ? ...

Thank you, so i am one of these creators that will have to suffer the downside of that change? old creators knows me, what about new creators on here? how will they know me or see my products for the first time, its not fair, thanks again.

Shop Search and Creator Visibility

We want to inform you about recent improvements to the Shop search algorithm across all IMVU platforms. These updates, made in response to feedback from our community, are designed to better prioritize product names, keywords, and descriptions, ensuring that users can more easily find specific products by name and access more accurate and relevant search results when browsing the catalog.

As a result of these changes, some Creators may notice that their products appear lower in search results than before. To help users find your products more easily, we recommend guiding them to filter products by Creator or by searching for unique characters that you consistently include in your product names.

We understand that this change may impact the visibility of some products, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance the overall shopping experience for all users. Additionally, we are working to improve the visibility of searching and filtering by Creator. In an upcoming update for IMVU Web and Desktop, we will enhance the accessibility of the field that allows users to directly search for products by Creator, making it more visible and easier to find. Similar improvements are planned for other platforms in the future.

Well i didn't know this matter was so serious until i tried to search my name!! only my name has these issues, and mostly any other creator i could find easily, i didn't have this problem before!! imvu has to find a solution because it doesn't look so good, by the way when i edit any of my products, i check keyword section, the order on how i put it completely change, my name comes last and tops and dresses comes first, that means imvu prioritize that section before rooms and furniture! this is mad! @Drosselmeyer​ can you please investigate this? it's really frustrating.

Welcome to the CREW! This is not a new "thing". We had topic about this problem before year or more. Some people are lazy even to check what they get when they search by name (especially newest products), and some ppl can't even understand what we are talking about, they just check your shop and they say: "WE SEE IT NORMALY". Search by name is broken (for some creators) for a long time, and for some still works fine. You can see your new stuff only, but after waiting few days to pass PR its actually not new, everything else are products from people who use our names as keyword/tag. Now is even worse than before, no one knows what is going on, i can't even find my stuff in search by name-newest products, and IMVU simply don't care, so GOOD LUCK!

@Ericfr​ , I've known you for many years and i always liked your products, unless many creators talk about this it's going To be buried in here and will ultimately disappear, I've noticed the crazy decline in sales especially the last week, and tbh i think same like you, it looks like imvu is trying to kill our products and give a better opportunity to other creators, especially fashion, they want this site to be a drees up game, and punishes us old creators by putting our names last in keyword search, my opinion!! i never understood why, i live on the income of imvu and i am doing my very best to always submit the best products, but it seems imvu don't care about us and want to get rid of us, every day i believe this is the case, in my case many creators use my name and put it on their products to help their visibility, or so i think! and imvu is clearly helping them, so what happens, my catalog lost visibility for new creators!! it seems this issue only happening to me, so, imvu, please revert back what you did to search engine, it hurts our sales massively, Thank you.

It's been 8 days now that the search in catalog has been modified. I discovered that my entire catalog was black listed. After having complained about it, I've been told it was fixed. It it's not the case. My sales are completely caped to something like below 50% in average to what they used to be before those 8 days.

My catalog that contains 13 years of intense work engender less revenue that it used to after just one month after I became a creator for IMVU 13 years ago ! It's become completely ridiculous.

If IMVU wanted to kill it's pro creators, they wouldn't do better.

At the time, IMVU was helping creators that were really involved in creating for IMVU by reserving the first 100 ranks of visibility to those dedicated creators and this what ever search you were asking for. I was selling between 800 and 1500 products per day !

Then little by little they drown our visibility down massively, accepting only 7 out of 27 products by pro creators by search page of 27 product (web page search) and it went to 3 max... but in the last 8 days now, it's purely a black listing of pro creators being paid in real currencies apparently.

with all the different waves of catalog manipulations some people inside IMVU have been doing, my revenue has lost 95% of what it used to engender in revenue 12 years ago even though I have only increased the intensity and quality of my work.

I talk about it with many many creators that like me were at the top of the sales within IMVU and most of them have left IMVU to go create somewhere else.

i believe it's time for IMVU to stop drowning our work beyond the derivations made by regular customers publishing products from time to time and come back to the good and fair practices of 13 years ago.

i believe it's time for IMVU to understand that anonymizing our icons with the new clients is insulting our work and acting against our brands. And so offers customers the choice to visualize creator's icons as they were created if they want to.

Enough is enough to disrespect and kill us !

show us love and respect and reverse this massacre trend .... please !

from a creator that loves IMVU and has kept his light up during all those years of "persecutions"

@DONATELLA​ I have never understood how the search is working. I have the feeling that it only shows people my products from 15 years ago, and not my new products, not those from my own meshes.

Ty @JanXuan​, very kind of you to reply but i wonder if all people will search by creator, that wasn't the case before, i used to put my name, cause its in the keyword and all my catalog will show, some people only use my name in their product to show in catalog, that is bad, this is not helping, they really trying to kill my business, what am i supposed to put in keywords? why they keep messing with the search??! never had this issue before, now i know why my sales are low.

@DONATELLA​ When I search your name I only see products from creators who have used your name in their product name.
