I can't create anything in blender using Imvu studio toolkit . Sub options don't appear below either of room/furniture/others . Whenever I click on create or append, blender software closes .I had uninstalled and reinstalled Imvu studio toolkit. Support says this is compatibility issue of blender with Imvu studio toolkit.Please anyone help me Screenshot_2024-07-23-10-39-57-888_com.google.android.apps.photos~2

Hi @SoniaSingh18, The sub options will not appear until you click one of the Tool 'Create' or 'Append'. This is expected behavior for the Toolkit.

The fact that Blender crashes/closes when you click 'Create Room' is something else and is a bug.

Can try something for me?

You can start Blender in a debug logging mode by running this command file: "C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender 4.2\blender_debug_log.cmd"
To run this command file, just double-click it. It will start up a Windows command (terminal) window. Follow the instructions 'Press any key to continue . . .' and this will start Blender.
Start up IMVU Toolkit and click on 'Create Room'.
After Blender crashes/closes, find the debug files. They should be here: "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp\blender\debug_logs"
- You can copy/paste this file path into the Windows Run dialog (Windows Key + R) and it will open a file explorer window to that location.
Send the files 'blender_debug_output.txt' and 'blender_system_info.txt' to us at studio@imvu.com

Is that *your* screen? If so, that's what you *should* be seeing.

Do you know your computers systems specification, in particular the graphics card or system?

Hi I have seen your video, There also no sub options were appearing below create room or other items , when I click on create any item then blender app closes

This was showing on clicking Tool option,now what option to select in tool option so it don't crash

This window was showing after I opened windows> Toggle System Console

Then also no sub option were showing even after clicking Tool option. Please tell me what to select in tool option . Blender app closed after clicking create room

In addition to what @Drosselmeyer has said so far, make sure the toolkit is installed correctly, for Blender 4.2 they've introduced a couple of changes https://www.katsbits.com/codex/imvu-studio-toolkit/#blender-42-lts-installation

Hi @SoniaSingh18, I just did a pass through testing the Toolkit against Blender 4.2LTS and did not run into any issues.

Just to be clear, sub options will not appear until you click on of the Tool options. Can you do me a favor and open the Blender System Console (Windows > Toggle System Console) and copy/paste (or take a screenshot) what is there after you click 'Create Room'? Thanks!

I am testing Blender Studio Toolkit against Blender 4.2 LTS starting today. If all goes well I should have an updated version of Blender Toolkit by EOD.

It's easier to just download a supported or functional version ;)

- 3.6 https://www.blender.org/download/releases/3-6/

- 4.0 https://www.blender.org/download/releases/4-0/

- 4.1 https://www.blender.org/download/releases/4-1/

There have been a number of changes to Blender's latest version (4.2) that may cause issue with the Toolkit, it's not been fully tested yet.

Hi @SoniaSingh18, What version of Blender are you using? We only support the most recent Long Term Support (LTS) version of Blender. Blender just released 4.2 LTS last week, but we have not had a chance to test against this version, so for now we only support up to version 3.6 LTS
