Did imvu make more changes to IMVU classic recently? I was notified one of my products broke, within classic not Studio, and it is broken. It's supposed to be a tail, it's got like 700 derives so I imagine people were complaining. I have not touched it since I created it. Many years ago.

Hey All, Just following up to see if anyone has run into this rotated/broken skeleton issue recently. We believe the issue to be resolved, but wanted to make sure no new occurrences have shown up. Remember that products that were affected by the bug need the original working skeleton reimported and submitted. The full explanation and fix it steps can be found here Broken Skeleton Issue Resolved. Our fix is only for newly submitted products since we rolled back the change that caused the issue. Thanks!

Hey @LestatDeLioncourt, As far as I am aware '%' symbol in file names is a valid character. BTW, I have not forgotten about your request for what characters are valid for the various uses (file names, actions, product names, etc.). I started asking around about this but the answer I got was "it depends" :)

It will take some digging, but I think I can pull something together that is at least "baseline" for various uses.

Thanks for looking at it. Yeah it's so odd. The reason I mentioned the amount of derives was just to say if it was always like that, nobody would've used it lol. It's weird the file is broken all the sudden. Even more strange that it loads alright in Studio.

And I think the % symbols are okay only because that's how they auto generate when importing FBX files. I don't even have power over that except if I were to go and manually edit the file after import.

Strange, when I set the .XSF back to "1D.XSF" it is still broken. Just as you said...

I would be weary of the "RootNode%2AttachmentRoot.xsf" *name* with the % in the name.

IMVU has had issues with *some* characters in the past. :/

@Drosselmeyer Are we "safe" to use such characters? I know this was asked before but... the % symbol ???

Hey @Nums, This is weird. I don't know of any changes to classic that would have messed with the skeleton. Keep us posted if you see more of this.

Depending on when you tried it, I applied the fix after messing with it some. It was probably 3 minutes before you made this post. So I'm not sure if you tried it before or after that. But I do appreciate you trying it

I figured out it's the skeleton. But I know this was on IMVU's end since I've never edited the product before. I left the old skeleton file in the product if you had wanted to take a look, it's called, "1D.XSF" . I did upload the fix since I can't leave it like that so when you open it , it should look fine.
