Pretty confused. So, I put the songs in my store the other day, then today I decided to change the display icon. I decided to break them out of peer review. The staff member, said they would send them to a specialist to fast track them. Usually it is pretty instant when I send them my links but this one sent them to a specialist. I am not sure why. They then failed which makes sense as all but one previously passed. I know two of the artists I used and one I asked if I could add his songs and he said yes. One of the others I haven't heard from in a while.

They asked me to send it to dmca. How do I go about this? What kind of proof of permission will they want to see?

Thanks guys, so I sent DMCA last night an email but they sent me an email writing this:  Unfortunately, I'm not a member of

the team that can assist you with this issue. Customer Care &

Education has built a knowledge base with answers to some common

questions.

You will need a written statement from the copyright holder to fight any DMCA takedown notices. And as Lestat said, familiarize yourself with copyright law in the USA, (or a brief summary of it). As a creator it is our job to do our best to not infringe on others copyright claims, be they individuals, or corporations.

Hi @ThoraNova  The DMCA Process for Copyright infractions is a legal question. We aren't allowed and shouldn't talk about legal issues here in the public Discussions.

Creators can surf the web to find the actual DMCA laws. If you think you need consultation, talk to a competent legal adviser.

IMVU Staff has a post regarding this Here: https://help.imvu.com/s/question/0D54p000028qBVVCA2/

Also, you may find the Help Article handy it is Here: http://im.vu/help950

I hope something here helps...
