So once I get to the end and have all the files in place my avatar just stands there with their arms open , what did I do wrong ?

Mac users need to do a little bit of fiddling to install the Toolkit, see here to double-check everything is okay (if you haven't already) https://www.katsbits.com/codex/imvu-toolkit-macbook/

For other Mac users see this https://www.katsbits.com/codex/imvu-toolkit-macbook/ to help installing the Toolkit, it's a little tricky compared to Windows PCs.

The mode's change based on selection. So if you select the colored shaped around the avatar in object mode, pose mode will be available

I have one more question, then I’ll be out your hair , so I don’t see the pose mode option under the object section.

Could you try appending clothing or attachment scene? If one of those work, then I would have to update the toolkit

I would think that would only happen if the files are not in the right place. There should have been 2 folders placed in the scripts folder. I would double check the install instructions and make sure everything is in the right place

Okay actually I got the side bar to show up but when I click append animation file it says file not found

So I’m trying to create poses , and basically I have a MacBook and I installed blender and the Imvu toolkit and tried to put them into the blender app but now the option to see Imvu on the sidebar isn’t showing up and at first it was but now it has went away plus it t wouldn’t let me see the avatar to be able to move it around .
