I noticed that in my shop the only products showing the IMVU+ badge are a few derivations from old meshes.

None of my new own meshes which were created and submitted in Studio, do not show the badge in the shop.

No worries. We just updated that help article. I noticed it was missing some information in the section If I am a Creator, how do I receive an imvu+ badge on my product?

OK I understand. I had not gotten that clear from the article. Thank you for the heads up. And I had not seen this extended answer yet when I asked you again later. Sorry for that.

@Drosselmeyer Thank you for that. I understand the problem. But aside of that, can you explain why the imvu+ badge does show on my rooms but not on my furniture?

Would love to do this, but there are some limitations based on performance which need to be considered, but it is on our list of features to look at in the future.

@JanXuan, The IMVU+ badge indicates a product which uses new features only available in Next and Studio. Some examples of this are: adding shininess maps, or normal maps, or emission maps to your product. In the case of rooms, rooms that are set up to showcase these effects are also given the IMVU+ badge. For rooms the ambient needs to be low and there needs to be at least 1 light present. There is more information about what determines when a product gets an IMVU+ badge here: https://help.imvu.com/s/article/What-is-imvu-plus

I would have liked an option where it would be possible to have a mirror actually reflecting anything in the room opposite the mirror, like I simulated on this one. It would be great if mirrors could be made working like that.

I have not heard this before. Then what is the definition of "shininess: ?

I have shininess in my furniture , no matter if they were made in Classic create mode or in Studio. Most of my rooms which have the badge, do not have any shininess. How would you describe these items? I have seen clothes in peer review which seem to have some shininess applied, and on most of them I found it not looking good. So what are the criteria?

Oh, wait a minute. They do show on rooms, even those who are not made in studio, and on some derivations in furniture. These rooms are both my own mesh or a derivation. So my guess is that the mesh must be submitted in Studio. So the question is: "Why does this work with rooms, and not with furniture?"afbeelding

I found some on older products in my shop in the Desktop client. So why do the new ones not display? Maybe @Saturi  can shine a light on this mystery?afbeelding

They gave me a link to the Studio info page, and there it says "How can I tell which product is an imvu+ product in Shop?

Products that are utilizing this new technology from IMVU Studio will be displayed in Shop with an imvu+ badge on the upper right hand corner.". But that is not what is happening. When I go to the shop in Next, I see products with badges. So why do mine not display?afbeelding

I had filed a ticket and here is what they told me: "This badge will not appear on an imvu+ product when shopping or chatting on IMVU Classic (Client); however, the imvu+ product will still be available to purchase or explore on IMVU Classic. "

So now my question is "Then where will it show?"

@LestatDeLioncourt I never came across it. I just checked Classic, Next and Studio settings and preferences. I can't find any. But I got an error message and was asked to file an error report when I clicked Preferences in the Studio menu. Very weird, because after I sent the report, the preferences menu was there.

I am not seeing any products for you with the IMVU+ Badge :/

Is there an account setting for this, can't remember?
