with annnauno1 now supplying their own sample images of proof, i dont think you can argue there's NO issues going on here...

think what i'm trying to say here, is there even a chance of a fix??

Yep. Got it. I went over the issue this morning with our engineering team. An engineer is going to look into it.

yes.....confirmed...a tonal difference created by differing factors of the 'blend' function between the two creation engines

just to be clear, the stockings and shoe/socks were fine tuned to worked perfectly together in the old create software...they WORK there!

Well @MsPixelicious​, I spent some time looking at your two PIDs on Desktop. Just to confirm, the issue you are seeing the color / tonal difference between the transparent area of the legs (19403174) and the transparent area of the shoes (PID 14867990) that is present on Desktop but is not present on Client:

I think I discovered the difference that is causing this. The leg PID is using Skin Composite and the shoes PID is using transparency with a skin mesh layer underneath. This does not explain why there is a difference. I will need to bring this to the attention of our engineering team.

Hi @MsPixelicious​, Thanks for the PIDs and the screenshots. I have a clear idea of what the issue is you are having and I will take a look and see what I can find. Yes, it is true classic and next handle transparency sorting in very different ways, but there may be a solution and I will reply to this thread with what I find.

dont fret annnauno...i was replying to Drosselmeyer (IMVU Staff) demands for details and screengrabs...and it was IMVU i wanted answers from but i doubt i'll ever get them...

lets face it, that would mean an overhaul of NEXT wouldnt it?
