[Archived - Drosselmeyer] The IMVU Studio team would like to know if you are having issues with Studio loading? Specifically, we have been getting reports of Studio failing to load and just displaying a white screen. Has this happened to you?

If so and you are unable to access "Report an Issue" from the "Help" menu or the "?" button in the lower right corner of the Studio window, would you please email us at studio@imvu.com the following files after you have quit Studio:

C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Roaming\imvu-studio\imvu-studio.log

C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Roaming\imvu-studio\imvu-studio-last.log

 

Let us know what OS you are on (Window 7, Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OS, etc.) and if on Windows, are you running Studio in a compatibility mode.

 

You might be seeing something like this:

I really think this last time had to do with when I lost internet in the middle of startup. Studio came right up the next time I tried to restart it, unlike the first time I posted.

I did just experience this, though my screen was gray instead of white, with a yellow dot quietly flashing forever in the middle. The gray screen of death! I tried everything, finally contacted support. They said take two aspirin and contact them after 48 hours and promptly closed the case. This of course after making me go through the normal hoops and trials. Anyway, after uninstalling and reinstalling several times, it randomly worked after about 36 hours. I have no idea what broke it or what fixed it.
