Ok.. I fixed it.

I removed EVERYTHING imvu from my pc... I did a full PC search removed EVERYTHING *imvu* from my pc emptied the recycle bin then rebooted. Downloaded fresh studio. installed an it finally works again.

I have tried an I have followed each of your suggestions even when i felt like I had already done it.

I truly appreciate your herculean efforts to help.

I wonder if some tech person might have some thing further?

As you can see from that latest screen shot I still can not get the program to completely load.

I have deleted those folders an tried the reinstall. i dont run any virus scanners.

Thanks @LestatDeLioncourt​ I couldn't get in to Studio. I deleted the projects folder as you said and it now works. That was the key! Thanks again. Yeah, AVAST is the worst.

After following the instructions I was able to connect to the server again. But please make sure you fix your control settings before creating your first item. By default IMVU Studio installs with derivable = true, searchable = false and displayonly

If you didn't remove the projects folder before reinstalling, this may be the cause. Also, known issues with different Antivirus programs such as Avast, Eset, Panda, etc. Disable the Antivirus for a moment while installing the fresh copy and try it immediately after.

Yes, as I stated above I have completely removed it. Used uninstall, went in an manually made sure all files were removed. then rebooted to be sure even temp caches were empty downloaded a fresh copy an tried to reinstall most recent version. I did this while my fire wall was up, I did it while fire wall was down. I have done it sam I am. heheh.

Did you try the full uninstall of Studio and Clean Out of old files? This has worked for quite a few people.

I know there are two folders left over after uninstalling the Studio.

One is your projects folder. One is settings, etc. for Studio.

1. Uninstall with the Studio Uninstaller.
2. Backup & Copy any needed Assets you need from the Documents/IMVU Studio Projects/CreatorNumber Folders. Delete the Folders
3. Type %appdata% in Windows Search wait a few seconds and press Enter. Find the imvu-studio folder.
4. Click once and press delete on the %appdata%/imvu-studio folder.
5. Download a fresh copy of the Studio Here: https://create.imvu.com/imvu-studio-beta/

Please note. every Step is Important. Completely Delete Both Folders mentioned above.

Thanks LestatDeLioncourt. BUT neither of those are my problem. I get basically half loaded program an it j ust stalls out. wont finish loading the program.

I am getting the same results. It is frustrating because it is the end of the month and I am trying to get outfits finished and submitted.
