I need help please. I have been a a devoloper since 2006, and some older products aren't working or they are just really bad out of date, and I use to be able to change the products that I derived from, by editing the product that I use to make them and using another product #ID that I want to use to derive it from, but now I cant remember how to edit that. Like if the product that I derived from, is no longer working, I use to go to my product and edit my product, then add another product id to that product, and it would change it to that new product that I change it to and it would fix it. Can you tell me how? I use to do it and now since everything has changed, I cant remember how I did it. I am using classic..Sorry if this is confusing.

If a product does not work in Classic nor new Desktop *and* I cannot get in touch with the original mesher, I would hide the product :/

Sorry you have this...

I understand and sympathize with you. I have about 25% of my catalog hidden because of similar issues... :/ Flash products are prolly my number one hidden. LOL

Thanks for letting me know. I talked to help and they told me to come ask the creators because, they didn't know anything but the basics and they had no clue how to do what I needed to do. Thats stinks that we can't do that anymore.

Hi @SoldierLuvr FOr a short period of time, we were allowed to Edit products and over-ride the PID to have it derived from a different product. This is not allowed anymore. If we want to edit a product and it has been derived from, we need staff permission in a Help Case. If you were not the mesher, you can discuss repairs with that person.

I hope this helps...
