These Sparkles have recently broken ( past month)

https://www.imvu.com/shop/product.php?products_id=40980198

Previously they worked in classic and new clients and have thousands of derives because of that. Something has changed in recent weeks so that the particles in new clients just flash on and off fast, yet they are still working in classic as always.

Can staff please have a look.

@4u We are working on a fix, but I am not sure of the time frame for it being released.

@Drosselmeyer .. 10 test products later.. cos Desktop won't clear cashe

Problem is with "TargetColor" , "Scale" instruction and how new client are reading/interpreting that.

@Drosselmeyer They worked fine before whatever changes were made... Its almost like they're stuffing around with classic particles.

Anytime frame on a fix?

I'd rather new clients didn't read classic particles at all! BUT we had the facility to add Studio particles to existing products so a product could have classic and studio particles, just that each client version only read the scripts relevant to it. Then it would've have fallen on the product developer to update to update the scripting to work in new clients.. while not breaking the classic scripting.

Conspiracy meh, just see's it as an personal attack or IMVU bending the the whims of rippers who're unable to update. And yeah I know blah blah, but that's how I see it.

I hope the tech team looks into this issue and fixes it. Particles were working fine on both classic and PC before.

@Drosselmeyer , @TauntaunTonic , @RigsK  Can I have someone have a look at this I have 3,564 derives of that product, mainly tiktok'ers and video makers. I've tried slowing it down via script but nothing is changing. product 40980198, classic and studio version used to be the same, suddenly studio particle is getting killed faster. If you look at @xAidenSteelx picture in thread you can see.

@Blueskyeye1  Sorry I never realised you derived from me, and your product was working fine in studio and classic until IMVU broke them a couple of weeks ago so they now work in classic but are different in Studio.

@xAidenSteelx Thank you for the graphics, that's exactly the problem, its something IMVU has changed that's affecting the particle in studio.

@Blueskyeye1 Its a different issue
