@DiamondBones and @LestatDeLioncourt, We really wanted to open the Convex Reflections up for furniture, but there are a few limitations to the feature right now:
The reflection image is rendered from the location of the avatar seat.
The reflection image is a render of the room and furniture only.
This so that any convex reflection material on the avatar looks correct, from the location of the avatar.
If convex reflections are assigned to a furniture, then the furniture it is assigned to will also be in the reflection, but from the center point of that furniture and it looks weird.
Also, because the avatar is not rendered you will not see its reflection on the furniture.
For performance reasons the reflection image is only updated when the avatar changes seats (from the location of seat in the room)
The avatar cannot be rendered because you would not see it move in the reflection
Furniture and room animations will not update in the reflections.

Really enjoyed the zoom session yesterday with imvu staff ^_^
Lots of tips about studio, so I look forward to seeing the recap on that session since it was too many for me to remember!

[Archived]I would opt for no furniture mirrors in lieu of best performance. People have enough issue with crashing and loading, etc.
Right now the illusion of a mirror can be done with "Twin Avatars". Great for Feed Photos
