I'm trying to become a dev (furry dev to be exact). I have all the proper software and resources. Anyways, I'm seeking a sponsor to help me start out. I realize that's a lot to ask from a stranger, but it's my only hope of ever getting started.

Basically I would get a sort of loan in credits to use as funds to upload my stuff. In return, I would give you half of the profits I make (I would send you screenshots of the profits I made that day), until I've payed off what I would owe you, plus interest. Alternatively I can draw you a reference sheet of the furset I make. (You can see some of my art in my IMVU albums)

I've already published three fursets so far, though they're rather old so they aren't a good benchmark of how I am now, but feel free to take a look. If you're at all interested, please do message/invite me!

You did find the money to buy Ap at one stage ;) I'd be approaching the furry community if that's where your passion lays and trying to get custom work, loans and agreements I'd avoid, that's what the derive chain is for.

HI @xSugarNova It is complicated to make an agreement with someone and further complicated to keep track and maintain that agreement.

I remember when I first started out, I was confused, frustrated and felt "alone". These emotions are hard to deal with especially when trying to make a quality / catalog worthy product, lol.

I found many resources to educate myself on my timeline. Back "in the day" these resources were scattered and hard to find. Even 'Google' wasn't as helpful as it is today - LoL Anyway, this method worked for me and perhaps it will help you, too. Today on IMVU there are tons of organized resources to use. You can study in the category you need at the moment.

As far as making and submitting products, IMVU has a great education section in Video format. Check the available videos and all the different aspects of using the IMVU Studio https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMAeCgOCjzsBc2C1-5aD7EkUhCTjjZrzk . The IMVU Educations Center has a wealth of detail knowledge. It is constantly being updated (even now). If you haven't checked it in a while, you should look at it. It does take a bit of trial and error to learn how to use the search but it is a grand resource https://create.imvu.com/

We also have these Discussions (here). Many times people get to a certain point on a project and find themselves lost with no recourse. We discuss these things here in the IMVU Discussions. Here we are not allowed to give great detail as far as exact settings for a special aspect of Create Mode or Studio but we can give enough information to get the message across. Probably a Link to two, also. We are not allowed to post files such as Mesh files nor Graphic Materials but we can point to tutorials that may contain them :)

Finally you may look at a new resource. There is a place where people offer services for sale. They do artwork, advertise and even offer lessons (much more, too!) IMVU has a "Market Place" where you may find a "producer" to offer education, training and tutorial services. Search through the VCOIN Gigs :D Check out this post here for a basic understanding of how it works. https://help.imvu.com/s/article/What-is-gigs-imvu-com There is even a place where you can Request Services Here: https://gigs.imvu.com/s/post-detail?postId=a0J4p0000091kz6EAA

I hope something here helps...
