It appeared to verify my email to send dm to users who are not friends of me. I did it and it's repeating again and again asking me to verify email even though I have already done it

Don't feel bad I'm having the same issue and they send you on a goose chase. If you have the time to message others on here (moderators) you have time to come up with a solution. The verification should work the moment you confirm through email but it doesn't. Never had this problem when I originally started years ago. Is there a hidden switch in the settings?
