Has this ever happened to anyone? What could have caused it to happen?
I was just down stairs for a few minutes and I came back up to IMVU classic showing that there was a problem with the chat session.
I tried logging back in about 5 times. Error with username and password.
Thought to myself -OK, weird, the only time that has happened is when the servers were messing up.
Tried resetting password just in case something severe was going on. Got no reset email.
Tried logging into my account with email and password instead on the webpage, says account disabled. Did it through the classic app and it said "disabled for 0 more days".
Logged in on a spare account and I could still see my account under the friends section of the "My IMVU" when you look at the classic webpage. And low and behold it has everything perfectly fine except for the fact that it says "disabled ########" next to my username. Only to completely disappear, completely, moments later.
Really weird situation. This has never happened to me before. My account has NEVER been banned/suspended or whatever in the last 19 years I've been on IMVU with this account and I've never shared my email and password with anyone. And suddenly I can't log in.
I saw something similar happen to a friend earlier this week. They didn't log on for a few days but I noticed their account started saying disabled on it. And then it just disappeared entirely off my friends list when I checked again an hour later. Then suddenly 2 days later they logged back on as if nothing had ever happened. I asked them about it and they said they didn't do anything like that.
