I don’t know if imvu censors these kind of post. But I don’t like the direction imvu is going I know the company has to make money but when it comes to a social platform like imvu customer satisfaction is how you make the money if the customer is satisfied the money will come I’ve been on imvu since 2017 there has been hundreds of features people have been asking for since I’ve joined why are some features available on desktop version that aren’t on mobile? How can you add all these tiers to vip add a new ap+ program and a crypto currency but we can’t get something as simple as a search bar for our inventory on mobile. Why can’t I appear offline on mobile and keep it that way (you appear back online the next day) why when I post my comments and like are filled with bots why isn’t there a feature to only allow people you follow or that follow you to comment or at the bare minimum a way to let me delete peoples comments off my post. I can name a bunch more features. But yall added stuff to make vip seem more appealing but the core foundation of imvu is trash rn which is why I haven’t been on it that much. We need these fixes immediately give the users a good experience the more you try to scrap and nickel and dime the more imvu is gonna go down I love imvu I’ve met lifetime friends who i still talk to and call to this day which is why I make this post. Sorry if my grammar or spellings bad.

This morning IMVU is at 27,389. That's below 14% of their high, which was over 200k. They've abandoned ever updating or recreating classic. NEXT is a POS half screen that isn't user friendly. The APP is still an embarrassment. They purposefully drove away the top 99% of creators with the best talent. And yet, their stock is up. When the eff is this company going to stop being rewarded for its lack of competence?

@YutakaSuzuki I agree with you 100%..This whole website has to be gutted from top to bottom and redone and fixed right..and it starts with getting a new owner who actually cares about it like we do...The Classic Client which is the only good version of IMVU needs to be upgraded to 64 bit !!! Why they refuse to do that but yet keep working on the horrible mobile and desktop versions that nobody wants to use because they are terrible is besides me...They are going in the completely wrong direction catering to that idea..Who makes these business decisions because every single one they make is wrong and steers the website further down..its a sinking ship...and its sad they are in denial about it.....Mobile and desktop users dont stay long as members and do not spend money on the site like classic client users do..We are the foundation of this website and are being ignored and abused..LISTEN TO US FOR ONCE !!!!! UPGRADE THE CLASSIC CLIENT AND FIX THE MUSIC ISSUES and people will stay and pay for it..!!!! Use common sense !!! adding more ram should'nt become a thing imvu needs to fix whatever it is they have done, imvu never had this issue before until they started all of these add ons an updates the computer, i will not be getting anymore ram i'll give up on imvu before i go an do such a task its ridiculous to even suggest i buy ram when imvu is the one constantly breaking things aka trying to force users to use that beta or desktop tool to create. honestly imvu isnt worth all a this an is better off being retired than to be constantly finding ways around what they have been changing.

its crazyy how this low memory error 8 has become the norm, upgraded pc with more storage and all they say is it uses up the ram well fix that or your just going to continue losing members.

Ive been a member here since 2006, I had to take time away because I had a stroke in 2022, it took me over 6 months to recover from that. Then I lost my wife of 26 years to triple negative breast cancer in 2023 after a 2 yr battle. Then in 2024, I just lost my 82 yr old mother suddenly and unexpectedly because of a fall that took her life.
I finally got to a good place and now my accounts have been put on hold and I have had contact with a rep once 11 days ago on a ticket I placed on the 23rd of last month. I gave so much information on the ticket before anyone contacted me back. I have them everything it said they needed and both account names.
11 days ago they said they said they wanted the paypal information. I replied with that information and haven't anything whatsoever since then.
Name and last 4 digits of the credit/debit/gift card used for purchases Email address associated with the account City/state/country of registration Registered birthday on the account Approximate date of your last log-in
I am a developer and was looking forward to getting back into the groove. My developer account has more than a quarter million credits. I have a fairly good size inventory that I can't do anything with, along with my credits or as a developer.
3 weeks is ridiculous and its not fixed yet?
This is definitely not the IMVU I remember.

My experience with IMVU has definitely taken its toll on me. I jumped on board in 2021 and quickly became obsessed, pouring thousands into rooms and outfits. My room even got featured, and I made a ton of friends overall, it was a fantastic ride. But about a year into being on imvu, my account was banned for supposedly buying items from my own non existent store to boost non existent sales, and that’s when everything went south. After weeks of phone calls and emails, someone finally fixed the issue, but I must have really irritated them in the process. When my account was finally restored, my room stopped being featured, and my daily friend requests dropped from 20-30 to a big fat zero. No more messages from weirdo's asking to see my feet! just 0 everything, It’s been like that ever since. Four years in, and the only way to make friends is to venture out and join a new room. My room that was featured always gets denied within five minutes of submission and I know they are not that fast lol. Hardly anyone joins anymore unless its a bot trying to get me to spend money on some other service. I even tried putting up a very eye catching profile picture and invited six bot accounts to fill it out, but not a single person joined. That's when I had a lightbulb moment I must be shadowbanned. To test my theory, I went to a friend's house, someone who had never touched IMVU, and created a new account using his name and debit card, spending another grand to recreate everything from my original account. Almost instantly, I was flooded with about 30 friend requests, and my new room which is the same exact room on my original that gets denied every week got featured just days later. I enjoyed a steady stream of visitors for about a year until I dared to confront IMVU about my original issues. They insisted that there was nothing wrong with my old account, so I brought up my new account and explained how I successfully duplicated everything to see how they'd respond. They immediately began asking for more details to investigate that account, which struck me as very odd. After a lot of back and forth, I ended up hanging up on the representative. About two hours later, I received an email from them asking for information about my new account to look into any potential issues. I knew then how they are but I wanted to be 100% sure so I decided to cooperate and provided the details. Within two days, my new room lost its featured status and sank to the same level as my original account no more friend request no more anything just like this one. It’s evident that something is seriously off here, and it feels like the platform is run by temperamental toddlers. My experience has definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth, but honestly, it’s all on them! I haven't spent another dime on this app, and when I take a moment to look around my opulent sanctuary, it's hard not to be dazzled by the impressive collection of remarkable treasures I've accumulated thanks to one less bill.

This website needs to be sold to another company or a person that actually cares about it and cares about their customers and listens to them and what they want and need...and it definitely needs all new customer support help and new engineers that are competent and know what they are doing...It needs an entire house cleaning and needs to be upgraded and have people that take pride in it and will make it great again..Right now these people from top to bottom dont care on bit anymore about this website...they treat us like garbage and we pay for this broken product..They wont fix or upgrade the classic client and if that goes this website till be officially done for us all..everyone will leave and that will be it...Its a real shame too what they have done to this website...alot of people are going to 3DXChat as well...its cheaper, better and things work there ..and the customer service actually helps you and solves the issues...Here is a waste of time..how much more are we supposed to keep taking before we give up?

imvu what is going on with this platform..alot has changed ..u allow more kids to be on,u allow this findgu.platform to come to every room they can and advertise ,,u show favortism to what rooms get featured ,,u dont post african americans or other races on discover,,its always the same people ,,alot of creators and longtime people are leaving ..have you giving up on imvu ,u losing people to second life platform..i really hope that imvu get they shit together and do something about these bullies ,perverts and kids ,,

its a real shame what this company and their "support" and "engineers" have done to this website.There used to be close to 200,000 people on during the weekends...under 100,000 on weekends used to be a slow day..Weekdays a slow day would be 70,000 people on.Now its a third of that...We are lucky to see it hit 40,000 people on now..Ive seen it as low as 27,000...They have taken what was a good product and destroyed it and it just keeps getting worse.the final death blow will be if they get rid of the Classic client because that will be the end,everyone I know will then leave for good finally.They couldnt leave well enough alone and upgrade the website and concentrate on what their customers told them they wanted.They chose to ignore the customers and go in their own direction and their decisions have brought them to lose 2 thirds of their customers and counting.The music issues are a joke and never get fixed, as well as the crashing and all the other problems which are too many to list, and the customer support never knows anything, never provides us an answer and just has us wait and wait until we give up.They give us what we never wanted, what we dont want and never asked for...and the things we tell them we actually want and need and would pay for they totally ignore.The store is horrible now because all the good creators left for good and never came back.I mean what more do they need to see her or hear from us? they are just letting the classic client go and dont care one bit about upgrading it because they are focusing on stuff we dont want and will never use...mobile and desktop are HORRIBLE and the users who actually spend money on here dont use that and DON NOT WANT THOSE...We have told them this until we are blue in the face and they wont listen ...so we end up leaving ...Like I said..its a real shame what they have done in destroying this website and chasing all the long time members away and there looks like there is no hope in sight unless a new company buys this website and gets a CEO and owner team in place that actually has pride and cares about it and will invest money into upgrading it, especially the Classic Client...I pray each day a new owner buys it and cleans house and brings in competent engineers and customer service that actually provides customer service and not copy and paste answer services ..because this website could flourish again with a whole new regime..Everyone that works here right now needs to go...Its a broken mess right now and is getting worse..its a train speeding down a hill and will soon hit the wall...I dont know what else to say anymore..Its just really sad what they have done to what was a really fun and great website years ago...

4 Years ago I had very high hopes for this platform, especially during and after the pandemic when the online user count was so high. I used to really love this platform and was on here much of my spare time. Over the past 4 years, a lot of things have happened, a lot of things changed, yet other things never seemed to get fixed or improved upon. During the last 2 years, the hardest thing I've had to watch was friends get trolled & bullied by really nasty people (that IMVU does 'nothing' about btw), and friends getting retaliation- or spite-flagged resulting in some of my friends getting their accounts "permanently" banned erroneously or for all the wrong reasons. I agree with much of what has been stated above, some I dont agree with, but I will say that there is either a strange "bias" or staff that definitely don't know how to make simple rightful "judgements" on a case. I've watched as certain staff has either retired or left the company, and watched the online numbers go down from 180K down to 30K to 50K. For myself, it's made me not only want to stop spending money with IMVU, but it's discouraged me from even wanting to be on here as much as I used to. I understand IMVU trying to make the platform more secure for it's users, but it has to be done in the "right" way. I had always wondered where everyone went to the past couple of years, and I just assumed they all just stopped coming online because "real life" has resumed in full for most. I found out recently that I was wrong. These people went to other platforms. The hardcore AP legacy users have all gone over to 3DXchat (which I'm definitely 'not' interested in), but a vast majority have actually gone over to VRchat which can also be played on "desktop" mode (no VR headset required). The #1 thing IMVU has going for it has always been it's ease of use, the massive selection of rooms and shop items, ...and especially it's avatars. IMVU has "hands-down" the best looking avatars that can be created on "any" platform. IMVU, please don't shoot yourself in foot anymore. You have a great legacy user-base that has been with you since the beginning, and I suspect you have lost a lot of them, and possibly about to lose even more of them. I honestly don't know what your business-plan or goals or these days, but at least use care and caution in the things you change or roll-out. We know the platform has limitations and certain things can't be fixed. We're okay with that. But what I can't tolerate is watching people that love your platform being mistreated and biased against. Suspensions are one thing, but to permanently ban people's accounts without proper just cause and without researching and making proper judgements is not only unfair but a literally slap-in-the-face to those who have been good customers of yours for many years.

Its very very sad what this website has become...All the good creators have left because they were chased out when IMVU got greedy and started taking any of their profits so they all left..They continue to try to do with away with the classic client which if they ever do that will be the final death blow to this website.They never fix any of the music issues (music muting in rooms after you have been in a room for a while has been going on for years now) and despite putting case after case in about this by me and all my friends and people I know..it has been totally ignored and all they do is send you the same recycled copy and pasted responses hoping you finally give up and go away...Nothing ever gets fixed right on here...The customer service is the worst on the internet for any type of gaming website and the numbers of members on here have steadily declined year after year...They take no pride in their own website and their bad business decisions have slowly destroyed what was a great website years ago...And they will not upgrade it or put money into their own product to improve it at all..Its really sad what this website has become now...The constant crashes, lagging , music issues that never get fixed...a terrible store with the same old recycled items in it and horrible customer service all add up to people just giving up and leaving for good...IMVU needs to wake up and wise up before its too late...

Then I lost my wife of 26 years to triple negative breast cancer in 2023 after a 2 yr battle. Then in 2024, I just lost my 82 yr old mother suddenly and unexpectedly because of a fall that took her life.
I finally got to a good place and now my accounts have been put on hold and I have had contact with a rep once 11 days ago on a ticket I placed on the 23rd of last month. I gave so much information on the ticket before anyone contacted me back. I have them everything it said they needed and both account names.
11 days ago they said they said they wanted the paypal information. I replied with that information and haven't anything whatsoever since then.

3 weeks is ridiculous and its not fixed yet?
This is definitely not the IMVU I remember.

My experience with IMVU has definitely taken its toll on me. I jumped on board in 2021 and quickly became obsessed, pouring thousands into rooms and outfits. My room even got featured, and I made a ton of friends overall, it was a fantastic ride. But about a year into being on imvu, my account was banned for supposedly buying items from my own non existent store to boost non existent sales, and that’s when everything went south. After weeks of phone calls and emails, someone finally fixed the issue, but I must have really irritated them in the process. When my account was finally restored, my room stopped being featured, and my daily friend requests dropped from 20-30 to a big fat zero. No more messages from weirdo's asking to see my feet! just 0 everything, It’s been like that ever since. Four years in, and the only way to make friends is to venture out and join a new room. My room that was featured always gets denied within five minutes of submission and I know they are not that fast lol. Hardly anyone joins anymore unless its a bot trying to get me to spend money on some other service. I even tried putting up a very eye catching profile picture and invited six bot accounts to fill it out, but not a single person joined. That's when I had a lightbulb moment I must be shadowbanned. To test my theory, I went to a friend's house, someone who had never touched IMVU, and created a new account using his name and debit card, spending another grand to recreate everything from my original account. Almost instantly, I was flooded with about 30 friend requests, and my new room which is the same exact room on my original that gets denied every week got featured just days later. I enjoyed a steady stream of visitors for about a year until I dared to confront IMVU about my original issues. They insisted that there was nothing wrong with my old account, so I brought up my new account and explained how I successfully duplicated everything to see how they'd respond. They immediately began asking for more details to investigate that account, which struck me as very odd. After a lot of back and forth, I ended up hanging up on the representative. About two hours later, I received an email from them asking for information about my new account to look into any potential issues. I knew then how they are but I wanted to be 100% sure so I decided to cooperate and provided the details. Within two days, my new room lost its featured status and sank to the same level as my original account no more friend request no more anything just like this one. It’s evident that something is seriously off here, and it feels like the platform is run by temperamental toddlers. My experience has definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth, but honestly, it’s all on them! I haven't spent another dime on this app, and when I take a moment to look around my opulent sanctuary, it's hard not to be dazzled by the impressive collection of remarkable treasures I've accumulated thanks to one less bill.

This website needs to be sold to another company or a person that actually cares about it and cares about their customers and listens to them and what they want and need...and it definitely needs all new customer support help and new engineers that are competent and know what they are doing...It needs an entire house cleaning and needs to be upgraded and have people that take pride in it and will make it great again..Right now these people from top to bottom dont care on bit anymore about this website...they treat us like garbage and we pay for this broken product..They wont fix or upgrade the classic client and if that goes this website till be officially done for us all..everyone will leave and that will be it...Its a real shame too what they have done to this website...alot of people are going to 3DXChat as well...its cheaper, better and things work there ..and the customer service actually helps you and solves the issues...Here is a waste of time..how much more are we supposed to keep taking before we give up?

imvu what is going on with this platform..alot has changed ..u allow more kids to be on,u allow this findgu.platform to come to every room they can and advertise ,,u show favortism to what rooms get featured ,,u dont post african americans or other races on discover,,its always the same people ,,alot of creators and longtime people are leaving ..have you giving up on imvu ,u losing people to second life platform..i really hope that imvu get they shit together and do something about these bullies ,perverts and kids ,,

its a real shame what this company and their "support" and "engineers" have done to this website.There used to be close to 200,000 people on during the weekends...under 100,000 on weekends used to be a slow day..Weekdays a slow day would be 70,000 people on.Now its a third of that...We are lucky to see it hit 40,000 people on now..Ive seen it as low as 27,000...They have taken what was a good product and destroyed it and it just keeps getting worse.the final death blow will be if they get rid of the Classic client because that will be the end,everyone I know will then leave for good finally.They couldnt leave well enough alone and upgrade the website and concentrate on what their customers told them they wanted.They chose to ignore the customers and go in their own direction and their decisions have brought them to lose 2 thirds of their customers and counting.The music issues are a joke and never get fixed, as well as the crashing and all the other problems which are too many to list, and the customer support never knows anything, never provides us an answer and just has us wait and wait until we give up.They give us what we never wanted, what we dont want and never asked for...and the things we tell them we actually want and need and would pay for they totally ignore.The store is horrible now because all the good creators left for good and never came back.I mean what more do they need to see her or hear from us? they are just letting the classic client go and dont care one bit about upgrading it because they are focusing on stuff we dont want and will never use...mobile and desktop are HORRIBLE and the users who actually spend money on here dont use that and DON NOT WANT THOSE...We have told them this until we are blue in the face and they wont listen ...so we end up leaving ...Like I said..its a real shame what they have done in destroying this website and chasing all the long time members away and there looks like there is no hope in sight unless a new company buys this website and gets a CEO and owner team in place that actually has pride and cares about it and will invest money into upgrading it, especially the Classic Client...I pray each day a new owner buys it and cleans house and brings in competent engineers and customer service that actually provides customer service and not copy and paste answer services ..because this website could flourish again with a whole new regime..Everyone that works here right now needs to go...Its a broken mess right now and is getting worse..its a train speeding down a hill and will soon hit the wall...I dont know what else to say anymore..Its just really sad what they have done to what was a really fun and great website years ago...

4 Years ago I had very high hopes for this platform, especially during and after the pandemic when the online user count was so high. I used to really love this platform and was on here much of my spare time. Over the past 4 years, a lot of things have happened, a lot of things changed, yet other things never seemed to get fixed or improved upon. During the last 2 years, the hardest thing I've had to watch was friends get trolled & bullied by really nasty people (that IMVU does 'nothing' about btw), and friends getting retaliation- or spite-flagged resulting in some of my friends getting their accounts "permanently" banned erroneously or for all the wrong reasons. I agree with much of what has been stated above, some I dont agree with, but I will say that there is either a strange "bias" or staff that definitely don't know how to make simple rightful "judgements" on a case. I've watched as certain staff has either retired or left the company, and watched the online numbers go down from 180K down to 30K to 50K. For myself, it's made me not only want to stop spending money with IMVU, but it's discouraged me from even wanting to be on here as much as I used to. I understand IMVU trying to make the platform more secure for it's users, but it has to be done in the "right" way. I had always wondered where everyone went to the past couple of years, and I just assumed they all just stopped coming online because "real life" has resumed in full for most. I found out recently that I was wrong. These people went to other platforms. The hardcore AP legacy users have all gone over to 3DXchat (which I'm definitely 'not' interested in), but a vast majority have actually gone over to VRchat which can also be played on "desktop" mode (no VR headset required). The #1 thing IMVU has going for it has always been it's ease of use, the massive selection of rooms and shop items, ...and especially it's avatars. IMVU has "hands-down" the best looking avatars that can be created on "any" platform. IMVU, please don't shoot yourself in foot anymore. You have a great legacy user-base that has been with you since the beginning, and I suspect you have lost a lot of them, and possibly about to lose even more of them. I honestly don't know what your business-plan or goals or these days, but at least use care and caution in the things you change or roll-out. We know the platform has limitations and certain things can't be fixed. We're okay with that. But what I can't tolerate is watching people that love your platform being mistreated and biased against. Suspensions are one thing, but to permanently ban people's accounts without proper just cause and without researching and making proper judgements is not only unfair but a literally slap-in-the-face to those who have been good customers of yours for many years.

Its very very sad what this website has become...All the good creators have left because they were chased out when IMVU got greedy and started taking any of their profits so they all left..They continue to try to do with away with the classic client which if they ever do that will be the final death blow to this website.They never fix any of the music issues (music muting in rooms after you have been in a room for a while has been going on for years now) and despite putting case after case in about this by me and all my friends and people I know..it has been totally ignored and all they do is send you the same recycled copy and pasted responses hoping you finally give up and go away...Nothing ever gets fixed right on here...The customer service is the worst on the internet for any type of gaming website and the numbers of members on here have steadily declined year after year...They take no pride in their own website and their bad business decisions have slowly destroyed what was a great website years ago...And they will not upgrade it or put money into their own product to improve it at all..Its really sad what this website has become now...The constant crashes, lagging , music issues that never get fixed...a terrible store with the same old recycled items in it and horrible customer service all add up to people just giving up and leaving for good...IMVU needs to wake up and wise up before its too late...
