In my opinion, they have been focusing on IMVU Next, leaving IMVU Classic/Web unattended. My surprise is that IMVU still uses outdated image limitations, such as a maximum size of 220x160 and files not exceeding 200KB. That was suitable back in the day, but what is the reason for IMVU still using these limitations? With modern advancements in internet speed and image optimization, there’s a real opportunity for IMVU to update the way they handle GIFs on IMVU Classic. By removing or raising the current size restrictions, users could create and upload more dynamic, high-quality GIFs, which would enhance the overall user experience and bring the classic platform into line with current technology. IMVU should consider updating these image restrictions to allow for higher-resolution GIFs, PNGs, and JPGs while maintaining performance. This would not only improve the aesthetic appeal of the classic version but also show that IMVU is still dedicated to its entire community, including those who prefer the older interface.
