Blocking system

You know it's 2025 and the blocking system been the same for years??? Why are blocked users is still able to see everything? Why is it not blank for them??? Blocked users can still see your profile, room location, your followers, they can enter the same room you're in to harass/stalk you, they can also whisper you which makes no sense at all, like what's the point of even blocking them if they can still find ways to access you??? The ONLY "good thing" is they can't message or enter your room. THAT IS NOT ENOUGH IMVU!! On other apps/games blocked users can't see ANYTHING IT IS COMPLETELY BLANK. Why imvu feels like the only game that don't care about the blocking and is way behind on it. It's like bullying/stalking is allowed without consequences because reporting don't do ANYTHING AT ALL. They can just make more accounts and do the same crap over again multiple times

One of the purposes of blocking should be to deescalate conflicts while allowing coexistence without antagonistic provocations.  Such antagonistic provocations can be caused by whispers from those we have blocked.

Along with preventing us from getting whispers from those we block then IMVU should implement a menu of options of whom we allow to whispers from. Such a menu should be available to EVERYONE and not just those with the ability to start the potential harassment. Personally if I was given such an option of whom I would allow whispers from then I would choose Friends Only.

It's extremely annoying to get unwanted whispers from others, especially if such whispers are of a sexual nature.  Whispers are often misused this way because predators know that no one else, especially mods will ever see what they are doing. Furthermore these VIPs seem to be immune to getting in trouble when we use the IMVU reporting tools to flag the chat. it's like their VIP status amounts to a get out of jail card. We shouldn't have to put up with sexual harassment which most often happens through whispers from those not on our friends list.

Note for the forum moderators: Please don't insult us by providing generic answers or solutions, especially if such generic answers and solutions are common knowledge. We already know how to block others, we already know how to report harassment, we already know how to file a help ticket. Stop telling us things we already know UNLESS we ask for such information. It's insulting and disrespectful to be told information that is common knowledge; it amounts to being called inexperienced.
