like to know just what is going on with Classic, from management. The mail don't want properly, 2 factor ID not working correctly, Sign in denying correct passwords, Music store not working in months but still taking money. It looks like the site is struggling to stay alive on life support. Question is: Are we in the count down to shut down classic or is IMVU about to pull the plug completely? Myself and others don't want a corporate scripted jibber jabber answer. We want the facts about these issues and considering what the consumer has been putting up with the answers need to come from the Top.

@MrNathanLadds good point and IMVU must have listened because now when you try to buy credits they make you sign a license agreement that covers their butts from any possible liability and protects them from class action lawsuits LOL

I have stopped spending money on IMVU since long time and now i do peer review and spins to get promo credits, but even that is all glitchy and bugged, I have been on 100% accuracy in doing peer review ever since i am doing it and IMVU have took away my peer review option 3 times now then when they find out it's a mistake they gave it back and now yesterday there is an incorrect vote showing in my peer review history which i didn't even pass or vote for, it is an icon with a red nazi symbol I am sure many of you who do peer review have came across that icon and seen it, and i have always skipped any product which had that icon as soon as i see it, so there is no way i can get a product with that nazi symbol in my incorrect votes , but IMVU and whole peer review is so full of bugs and glitches that even now they got my peer review history showing all wrong and that nazi symbol icon is appearing in my incorrect votes which i never voted for , and IMVU now took away my peer review option once again for a mistake which their system made, they disable accounts falsely and even take away privileges falsely but never think to look at their faulty and buggy system and fix it.

I have been on imvu now for almost 19 years, almost 18 on my second attempt. I'm really upset about the idea of Classic being taken away from us in favor of Next. I have contributed a significant amount of money to this business and have done so for 19 years. Age verification was required when I first started signing up. Now there are kids running around, copying everything in shop, and it still passing in peer. We adults all paid for AP and we should have the right to things that are adult. I mean, why do we have ap? For clothes? Images of rooms, furniture, or clothes with AP cannot be posted on the feed. We are given crumbs and are constrained. We now have to pay a subscription fee for AP+ in order to spend a ton of credits on a single, basic pose. Whoa, talk about being money-hungry, not giving a damn about your customers' inquiries, or figuring out how to fix classic instead of devoting all the time and energy to the AP. We complain all the time about things being fixed here, they dont because as earlier stated..... The app is getting all the attention.. So many ppl are asking for classic to remain, and if ppl want to go onto the app they can go. Dont take classic away, make it better.. Maybe the numbers will go back up, as of now everyone is leaving and going to Second Life.

My radio by sony says restricted on the play console when i click on it,. I have bought other radio for people and they work but what happened to mine. Also i had just a reg voice in classic by the way and it disappeared the other day. I got one voice left that is too low in volume you cant hear it. The sex they treat us like kids and why because google has boundaries that cant be passed if they want to have the site on their search engines. They allow minor but i havent seen any of them, yet we are restricted as adults from saying certain words in our private chats if its not an ap room, which i think has to be public im not sure. I wont even go there with the inability to have bodily functions work correctly and show visuals to that effect in private settings between consenting adults.
If children are coming into adult scenes then its up to the parents to make sure their child stays within its boundaries for kids. The poses are so far off you dont even touch the other person when you kiss sometimes.
Or your face is smashed into theirs. I dont like the next version of this site and if classic goes so do I:)

@Susansdestiny I just tried to enter new bank information. There is no place to do it. After reading your post I assume they will not renew or update members that are on Classic. If that is how they want to roll so be it. They need our money more then we need to spend it here.

more worse a few of us cant use their payment methods no more i cant buy vip no more no creditcard nothing just vip coins , if i try an message shows up this service isnt avalable at your region , i think as well they let the imvu classic fade out , i even understand this , but it would be nice but it would be fair to inform the croud. on the other hand we computer users aware anyways the minority now no one cares if the rest of us disappears as well. an friend of mine is at 3DXchat he told there is even more drama than here so ill see and wait more i cant do anyways...........................

We do NOT want streaming or radios...we want to keep our mixes and the songs we chose and bought...Thats what makes each of us unique and individual..the different music tastes.....and how we put them in order and choose, etc.....and the ownership of them.Take that away and 90% of us will be gone...

I'm pretty sure I remember them declaring they'll only finally shut down Classic when the future Windows updates can no longer run it. Until then, they're trying to collect as much data from us as possible to see which features from classic are the most important to us, because not all of it is going to fit on these new programs.
I wonder if they make a new version that just aesthetically looks like classic's appearance, if that'll be enough for us, so the older veteran users don't have to figure out where things are and feel like a new user in a place they've always known. Took me time to get use to the new app, I like parts of it, but it doesn't run as well as Classic when I want to dress up my avatar in details, it's basically good for just new users who don't have a lot of time or patience to spend. Maybe this will influence them to keep things more simple as they grow here, who knows?
By the way, eventhough I have a lot of music, I'm happy about the radio streaming. Sorry to say, but I feel betrayed by the Sony company for the way they set their music program up on our Classic. Everytime a song I bought expires, I have to contact imvu customer support, they can't fix it, only give me a cr refund because Sony doesn't want to update. It's not right they don't post expiry dates and give customers the impression that buying a song from them is forever, like the rest of our products in a way. At least with radios we have a chance to control things better, just have to learn how to do it, i haven't bothered yet, but have been enjoying it when going to rooms or uploading to my own I found online.

In 18 years I'am at IMVU now, they NEVER told the community about important changes they had in the head, why should they suddenly do it? I remember sooo many historys where things disapeared without being explained (very talented creators as well ^^) ....but finally, if IMVU really will shut down the classic client, I will definetely forget about IMVU, no way that I'll begin to use the desktop thing, it's just horrible and an insult to every smart people.

I already concluded that IMVU was dying over 10 years ago, but lately they stopped my VIP-ness and most of my 11 rooms and I can't get any contact with them. I wrote them this: I'm trying to get my rooms back from when I was a VIP. I never cancelled my VIP-ness and was very happy with it. Lately I tried to become a vip again, but that was on the mobile app I guess and it didn't stick. When I try to look at anything on the site, like https://www.imvu.com/next/settings/subscriptions/ I get a forever blinking dot! Please help me!

if that happens me n friends are done with imvu for good. we play for years every day, buy credits all the time and now its over with classic? great. will go simply back to steam games and make them rich instead. nonsense for real. i hope its just rumor

@ All Posters: I'm just seeing the info about Classic may go away in Oct of 2025. Should that happen I will go away as well. When I joined a couple years back I downloaded the newer version of the game. I hated it and told the staff in support that game was not ready for release to the public. I hated the beta so much I told staff and my friends goodbye. It was my friends that reached out to get me onto classic which i like very much. However, I do have some Issues with this game. The sex is for virgins and not worth the price we pay not to able to see everything in full bloom and making real contact in the right position. Next is when a creator copies a design I don't like they copy the garment or object in same size and keep the same flaws. FGS change something to make it your own. Lastly I don't like they allow unlimited accounts. This encourages the demented mind of the stalker to keep bothering trying their best to get close to you with endless request to be your friend. Make the block button work for any account they may create. Bottom line here is the consumer has the power. They need our money to to live and pay their bills. So they need to keep us happy and spending. We don't need to spend a dime on this or any other site to live our real life. We landed here, we can and many have landed someplace else.
