I have concern on this Product ID 56533653. Unable to add in our shared room nor private room. It shows:  Error in adding furniture, you do not own the specified product or is not published. I'm currently using Imvu desktop and no access in using classic since I am a Mac user.


Hope you can assist me in my concern. Thank you.

Hi @Ysabella0709 , the error message "Error in adding furniture, you do not own the specified product or it is not published" in Imvu indicates that you are trying to add a furniture item to your room that you don't own or that is not available for purchase in the Imvu marketplace. You need to ensure you own the item in your inventory before attempting to place it in a room. 

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Verify Ownership:

Ensure the furniture item is actually in your IMVU inventory. You can check your inventory by going to your profile and selecting "Inventory". 

2. Published Status:

If the item is in your inventory, it's possible that it's not yet published for use in shared or private rooms. Some items may be restricted to specific events or only available in certain rooms.

3. Room Type Restrictions:

Some furniture items might be restricted to specific room types (e.g., public rooms, private rooms, etc.) and cannot be added to other types of rooms.

4. Check for Updates:

Ensure that your IMVU desktop application is up to date. Outdated versions can sometimes have bugs or issues with furniture placement.

5. Contact Imvu Support:

If you continue to have problems, contact Imvu's support team for assistance. They may be able to provide specific information about the item or the room type you're using.
