Hi @Paiddd Hiding your IMVU Outfits:
There are a couple of ways to control the visibility of your outfits on IMVU, depending on whether you want to prevent others from seeing the items you're wearing in a scene or manage the privacy of your saved outfits:
1. Hiding the contents of your Outfit in a scene:
This method will prevent other users from seeing the specific products that make up your current outfit while in IMVU Web & Desktop normal chat rooms.
Step 1: Go to the IMVU website and log into your account.
Step 2: Click the "Account" link in the upper right corner.
Step 3: Scroll down to the "Promotion & Feature Settings" section.
Step 4: Toggle the radio button under "Show Products In Scene" to "Do not allow other users to see the contents of my outfit".
Step 5: Click "Update Promotion & Feature Settings" to confirm the changes.
2. Managing the privacy of your saved Outfit Categories:
You can create outfit categories and control who can view those outfits (Public, Friends only, or Private).
Step 1: Access IMVU Classic and login.
Step 2: Click on "Dress Up" from the main menu.
Step 3: Click the outfits icon at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: Click the "Manage Outfits" button.
Step 5: Enter a category name and select the desired privacy setting (Public, Friends only, or Private).
Step 6: Press the "Create" button.
Important Notes:
Hiding outfit contents in a scene using the first method currently does not apply to presenters in Live Rooms.
You can also hide individual items within your inventory to prevent them from appearing in IMVU chat, regardless of your outfit settings.
Hidden items are marked with a dark gray box in your Web Inventory.
You can unhide items by clicking the "Show" button.
By utilizing these methods, you can control the visibility of your IMVU outfits and choose how much information you want to share with other users.
